unckeyherb 2 Posted November 19, 2006 now that's funny, rumours around the stadium. I'm sure the drunken criminals who fill that toilet of a stadium know before the guys in the booth. hmm, knee injury, make 2 or 3 guesses and you'll be right wth one. This never would have happened if he played for a winning franchise. just announced by Reid. Got anything else to comment on douchbag. I never even said it was reported. I said RUMOUR around the stadium, figuring I would provide some local word. What do ya know. That drunken idiot was right. Shut your fockin mouth.

GettnHuge 2 Posted November 20, 2006 I didn't realize he had Romo on the list. T. Romo 19/23 226 0 1 Dallas 6-4 defeats best team in the league D. McNabb 6/13 78 0 1 Philthy 5-5 smacked around by one of the worst teams in the league

Mackgee 0 Posted December 26, 2006 They are done my friend. DONE. I mean done today and DONE for 2006. This was the easiest game they have left. Indy is gonna be a whoopin. Until this week I was hopeful. Now reality has set in. Not only is McNabb hurt but the rest of the team is playing like crap. They just aren't very good. I can't defend them anymore this year. Damn bump You're about to see his impact, chump. The Eagles will go from a 5-4 team to a 1-6 team. PS, I hope all the steroids you abused causes liver cancer. (since it seems to be in style to find joy in other people's misfortunes) bump

Mackgee 0 Posted December 26, 2006 That is for sure. They are an average team with a great weaopn in Westbrook and a top five player in the league in McNabb. Without McNabb, the defense keys on Westbrook and they are useless. They will win one more game this year.(Atlanta) bump
NewbieJr 541 Posted December 26, 2006 bump You're bumping a thread where I was wrong about my team having enough heart to make a run without their best player? Please continue bumping those kind of posts. I've never been more proud and happy to be wrong in my life.
NewbieJr 541 Posted December 26, 2006 Mcnabb is not their best player Garcia is and was. Good deflection though. Seems you are wrong about alot of things......choice of women, taking care of others children(How is my daughter anyways?) Your ex wife poosay was tight too. She left your sorry ass because you spend too much time here and my daughter will want her real daddy soon. She is tired of watching you type. You can always tell when someone is admitting defeat. They can no longer debate the subject, so they turn to the family attacks. Good one. Also, congrats for using the wife. Most defeated folks around here opt for the mother. Nice change up. Game. Set. Match.

beantownbrown 0 Posted December 27, 2006 Garcia = MVP If Romo can go to the pro bowl, why not? On a serious note, it's time Westbrook, not McNabb get credit for being the key cog in that offense. I still can't believe he isn't in the pro bowl. Actually I can, because pro bowl voting is a joke, but still...he deserves to be there.
Little Big Head 6 Posted December 27, 2006 Not sure what Mcnabbs value is going into 07. Im thinking about trading him for Cutler in a keeper league
DrJ 0 Posted December 27, 2006 Eagles fans should cheer up a bit, I think. I remember reading almost identical posts back when McNabb broke his ankle, and AJ Feely led them to the playoffs. I had the same feeling heading into last season when Rex Grossman's ankle snapped, and Kyle Orton lead the Bears to the playoffs. There's still 6 games to go and plenty can happen. It's more likely if you show up cheering on Sunday and give your team a real home field advantage... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=254477 I told you to have a spine, Newbie... NewbieJr 541 Posted December 27, 2006 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=254477 I told you to have a spine, Newbie... NewbieJr. November 20:"The Bears were such a defensive juggernaut last year that they could have played Bruce Gradkowski and won. The Eagles aren't built like the Bears. They have an average defense, below average special teams, and average wide receivers. Other than Brian Westbrook, McNabb IS this team. When they were leading the NFC East early on, it was soilely because of McNabb. He was everyone's choice for MVP. He even made Dante Stallworth, who is a Saints reject, look like a number one receiver. Everyone saw how his absense sucked the heart out of the team yesterday. Granted, they were down 7-3 when he got hurt, but they were in Tennessee territory. As soon as he got hurt, they folded. I think you're probably going to see that for the rest of the year. There were probably ten NFC teams with more talent than Philadelphia, even when McNabb was in there. He was not your average quarterback. He was dynamic. He wasn't just the best player on the team, he was their undisputed leader. You could tell by the reaction of the Titan players when he was injured on the sideline, just how special and well-respected he is. After Owens was kicked off last year, Philly still played tough. As soon as McNabb was lost, they collapsed. Sure, I'd like to think that Garcia (or Feely) could somehow play decent enough to get Philly a few more wins, but I wouldn't bet on it. Teams wuill now be able to focus on stopping Westbrook, something they couldn't do with McNabb in there." Never been more wrong or more happy to be wrong. After watching them suck in the three quarters after McNabb got hurt against Tennessee, and then watching them look like an expansion team against Indy in their next game, I thought for sure they had folded their tents and left camp. It never stopped me from cheering for them, but it certainly did diminish any playoff hopes I had. This season, my expectations for the Eagles has changed many times. Here is how they went: Preseason- Hoping they could rebound from the T.O debacle and finish around .500. Early season- Was shocked by how great Mcnabb looked and how Philly looked in general. I was concerned about how they kept dominating teams (Giants, Bucs), but couldn't seal the deal. Mid-season- Obviously, by my Nov. 20th post, I thought they were finished. Now- Very impressed by how garcia is leading the offense and how the defense has rebounded. Especially against the run. If they play like they should, they should even be able to win a playoff game. If they play a little over their heads, they even have a chance of winning a very weak NFC.
DrJ 0 Posted December 27, 2006 If they play a little over their heads, they even have a chance of winning a very weak NFC. Going into New Orleans to beat the Saints, and then most likely coming to Soldier to beat the Bears? Yeah, good luck with that.
NewbieJr 541 Posted December 27, 2006 Going into New Orleans to beat the Saints, and then most likely coming to Soldier to beat the Bears? Yeah, good luck with that. I certainly wouldn't bet on it happening, but if they play the way their playing and catch Cicago in one of their Arizona or Miami performances, or New Orleans in one of their Cincinnati performances, they could win on the road. I don't know the stat exactly, but I know the times that the number one seeds from both conferences advanced to the Super Bowl, is very low.

DrJ 0 Posted December 28, 2006 Just in case your memory is suffering: http://philadelphia-eagles.net/history/2001/2001-div.html I'd love a rematch of that game. Garcia will look like Shane Miller against this D, just like he did last year as a member of the Lions. He probably still has nightmares...
