Let Da Big Dog Eat 40 Posted December 8, 2006 Just want to throw out a big TY to Bears Still Suck for sharing this and those who tried to help me get it working. I never did get it working but it is truely a great place to be where people are willing to help a hack like me try to get some great technology. Excuse me now as I am going to have a good cry and change my pad. Thought I would say it before anyone else did.

A good friend of mine was in Green Bay for business, and he said the weather was bad, so much so he was afraid to fly out tonite. Not bad, just cold. Single digits and wind chill in the - #'s. As a frequent traveler, nothing to worry about. God how I can't wait to move to FL next fall and retire.

markf 0 Posted December 15, 2006 What pisses me off the most... is that the $10 a month streaming audio that I BOUGHT from the damn NFL network themselves... is blacked out. That's how big of a bastard the NFL is being about their network broadcasts. They've blacked out their other customers to try to scam in more. They deserve to fail. illest 0 Posted December 15, 2006 NFL network will never fail... they have the fastest growing cable network -- and we are all piss-sore that we don't have it. damn the fact that i live in an appartment that doesn't face the southern sky!! ITS BUFFERING!!! ITS BUFFERING!!!
GobbleDog 984 Posted December 15, 2006 I think it's starting to work! Mine says buffering!!! But it's slow...
ready5 0 Posted December 15, 2006 yeah what are you talking about wrong - no one can get the game and your saying wrong. do you know something we dont know - if so we would ALL appreciate if you gaves us a heads up i'm responding to TheGiantJets saying "i have a feeling the NFL finally got to the streaming sites and told them to take it off" just like i should respond to illest saying "hopefully to just hold us over until SOPcast gets its head out of its ass". sopcast is simply P2P software... it's not a service, nor is it a "streaming site". if the NFL wants to shut down sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/12993, they'll need to talk to whoever is streaming it, not sopcast. further, if you're having any quality issues with it, it's due to any number of technical issues... the streamer's upstream connections might be maxed, there may be connectivity/bandwidth issues between you and the streamer, or maybe you need to patch your tcpip.sys to unlimited connections (and no, i'm not going to walk anyone through how to do that). if you're really desperate, the 2.2.1 beta23 version of tvu used to be able to see channels not in the channel list... i don't know if it'll work in this case, because tvu://10064 definitely seems to be down. other than that, the more persistant of you might be able to sustain a connection after the hordes have given up... but now that P2PTV is all over every football forum, i doubt it. good luck! ready5 0 Posted December 15, 2006 I think it's starting to work! Mine says buffering!!! But it's slow... sopcast doesn't have adjustable buffering, so if it's too choppy, just click the lower right button of the player to open the stream in your default media player... and then adjust its buffer to something extreme. usually 300 (five minutes) is foolproof... but if it gets choppy again, just pause your player, take a break, and then come back to it. Nice...didn't know it could utilize a different media player. Good info

ready5 0 Posted December 15, 2006 Nice...didn't know it could utilize a different media player. Good info also, if you've got a stream recorder like pprecorder (i'm sure there's better ones out there), you can even record multiple streams for later viewing. it's kind of fun having your own library of game film... comes in handy if you ever want to look up a specific play or whatever.
