Fumbleweed 462 Posted December 31, 2006 .....went over 2,100 yards from scrimmage this year. TDs were obviously way down, but three straight 2,000 yard seasons is really impressive.
BMoney 0 Posted December 31, 2006 ......cemented his place as a hall of famer.... or at least a strong candidate.... he played in NJ...was media friendly and had big games when the team needed one.... (which is why the tiki over 95 yd rushing bet was such a gift)......

The guy did nothing all year in terms of TDs and now he decides to show up when no FF'ers care anymore

dehaven123 31 Posted December 31, 2006 4 times in career over 2,000 yds from scrimmage....... Ties Marshall Faulk for most of all time. Both are hall of famers, but well see, time will tell
kutulu 1,564 Posted December 31, 2006 While he will most likely have a playoff game, not many backs have a three TD 200+ yard game in their last reg. season game before retirement...whether he gets into the HoF or not, he's going out at the top of his game. Staffer 0 Posted December 31, 2006 My fantasy superbowl is week 17, and he is on my team. I survived his shortcomings all year (just barely) by picking up players off of the waiver wire. Hopefully his 34 points that he gave me will be enough to give me the win! Not sold just yet though.
remote controller 138 Posted December 31, 2006 Great regular season finish for a great back, and man. He did cause his FF owners many nightmares this season though. That should be blamed on the offensive decisions the team made.

I like Tiki Barber a lot but I'm not sure these are HOF-worthy numbers. Tiki doesn't have a ring and he didn't put up huge TD numbers. If he stuck around for another 2-3 solid years I'd certainly consider him a HOFer but right now I think he's on the bubble.
Ilov80s 0 Posted December 31, 2006 Tiki Barber IS a hall of famer because: 10th All-Time Yards from Scrimmage Career 4.7 Yards per attempt - only Barry and Jim Brown have higher. Tiki had 5 200 yard games, only OJ has more. and most importantly: Tiki Barber has racked up just under 14,000 yards in the past 7 seasons. That's the greatest 7 year stretch EVER. Walter34 3 Posted December 31, 2006 Tiki Barber IS a hall of famer because: Career 4.7 Yards per attempt - only Barry and Jim Brown have higher. Joe Perry (4.8) and Gale Sayers (5.0) Tiki churned out alot of yards, but there really is nothing special about his career to this point. If you let him in, then you have let a whole bunch of others in just based on yardage.
