The first guy is usually a guy that we already knew one particular team really wanted. I voted Fletcher, I think he'll be a 'Skin as fast as he can sign his name. (Then again, now that his name has lengthened to London Fletcher-Baker, maybe someone will beat him out. )

tom k was commenting on the early signings at mlive today. he said teams *might* play it safe and delay the announcement of some of these deals so they don't get held up by the league and investigated (i.e. tampering).

 

thus, he claimed, you might see some of these players pay a perfunctory visit or two in the next couple of days.
