Released Sailors Tell of Ordeal Not that what Iranian represenatives were saying should be trusted, but it's hard to figure out what the Iranians were thinking. It must be a result of the multi-tiered government and their own confusion within. Obviously if they're released this information comes out so why tell the rest of the world about the supposed good treatment Different intepretations of good treatment isn't even a feasible excuse.

They are dumb phucks who know all they have to do is lie lie lie and lie some more and there are enough other dumb phucks (Rosie O phatshit, Howie Dean, Pelosi, Dems in general) out there who are inclined to believe them because they pretty much hate us.

 

Also, they can do whatever they want knowing full well that the majority of Iranian people will never know the truth because they are fed all info from Iranian state television....not many cable choices in commie Iran.

 

You have to understand their culture, honestly read up on it, lying is not only not frowned upon...its actually a legitimate day to day tool of theirs and considered a valuable part of their culture.

 

We need to take this regime out quickly. Some Americans, guess who, are already talking about how Aminajihad came out smelling like roses and handled the situation beautifully......completely forgetting about how 15 Brits were ILLEGALLY captured and detained.

Well I can't say anything about the majority of regular Iranian people, but did you see the guy's blog that wiffle posted? I'd have agreed, and he's still just one guy. CN probably would have known. Are you sure about saying the majority don't question much? Is there a way to prove that? It may not be information lack on the people's part but just that the government does it's own thing and can afford to. Actually went over Iran in a foreign governments class and I remember hardly anything except that the president and supreme leader aren't always on the same page but ultimately the president has to do what the supreme leader wants. My guess is the reverence for the supreme leader is enough to question government on whole but refrain from questioning him.
