We won our bowling league last night!

STC and I have never bowled in a league before until this year but somehow we managed to win the thing. Yeah, both of our handicaps suck but we won. She had the high handicap game I believe and the other chica on our team had the high handicap series which means extra money for our trip. We went in to last night tied with the team we were bowling against. WE SWEPT EM!!!

We have planned a trip to either Cancun or Porta Vallarta with our winnings. Nothing is set so if anyone has any advice on where to go in Mexico feel free to elaborate.

I've been to alot of places in Mexico and it really depends on what you are looking for. CC and PV (especially PV) are very touristy, nice but touristy. The clubs are better in CC but the views are better in PV. Of all the places I have been in Mexico Cabo San Lucas is my favorite. Has awesome views, great fishing, great golf, still has resorts that are away from all the tourist BS but also has many clubs and restaurants.

for my money, Caribe > Pacific...I would definitely do Cancun before Puerta Vallarta.

We would probably be looking at more $ to go to the carribean wouldn't we? If it is around the same price to go to either I'd rather go to Jamaica or the Virgin Islands.

Cancun is on the Carribbean and is about the same cost as Puerta Vallarta...at least it is from Vegas.

 

Cancun is a hella cheap trip, you can go ALL INCLUSIVE at a 4-star for under $2500 a couple w/ flights.

I perfer the Pacific I like the mountains. The caribbean is to similiar to Florida or South Padre Island for me. SigEp is correct that you can find some pretty cheap packages to Cancun. I know for awhile places in Playa del Carmen were running specials to get people back after the hurricane.

I agree...but for the beach, I like the Caribe more than the Pacific.
