jerryskids 6,763 Posted April 18, 2007 I'm going to go with "yes" for $1000, Alex. Check with PayPal to confirm.
Let Da Big Dog Eat 40 Posted April 18, 2007 It's phishing. Just confirmed it. All the links of the Pay Pal site either take you back to the sign in page or just don't work. Man, I am sick of these scams.

Let Da Big Dog Eat 40 Posted April 18, 2007 give me your account number and pin - I'll check for you seriously, this was the best phishing attempt I have ever seen. Usually it's easy to tell as none of the links work. on this one some of them actually do work. that's what had me going for a while. at least the word is out there now that someone is using a Pay Pal scam. Let Da Big Dog Eat 40 Posted April 18, 2007 actually my wife got the same thing and thought it was real and she was so worried about her ###### feedback - I was like fock it - it was paid and shippped - dont fall for this. You're right though it looked real and had her fooled for a long time - Now, I feel better since it took me about 4 minutes to figure it out. But, when I didn't figure it out immediately and it said $ was already taken from my bank acct., I decided to post both asking for input and as a warning. Glad your wife didn't fall for it. Twinsdad 55 Posted April 18, 2007 My wife got one of these as well. She went into her paypal acct (not through any links in the e-mail) and there were no transactions. Mousing over the 'dispute' link is where you see the phishing attempt. Also, any thing with "Dear Paypal Member" is automatically a phishing attempt.
