directv jerks...

i got an HD box (H20 non-dvr) that i suspect got a firmware update. all the menu fonts are different and blurry. went through all the settings and everything seems the same. it's driving me nuts.

 

any help???

Sounds like your TV is displaying a 1080 feed at a lower resolution. Instead of checking the settings on the HD box, check the display settings on the TV itself.

i got a 1080p TV connected to H20 via HDMI. i have a 720p feed going into it.

 

it was perfect before :banana:

You should get rid of your black & white television. I've been hearing that color Tv is the wave of the future

You might want to try unplugging everything and then plugging it all back in again. I know that w/my PS3 that sometimes has to be done when switching TVs/cables/etc. I guess it lets the equipment re-initialize or makes the TV re-confirm the resolution. :lol:

i have the same thing going on...started yesterday...... i imagine they are doing some tweeks (as it is happing on both of my tv's)... don't know quite what to do with it.

yeah. i've done some research...and read that there was a firmware update on the 31st...but i called directv today from work to see if they knew anything about it and the chick played dumb...but i gotta call them back when i get home.
