Thin Spirit 0 Posted August 23, 2007 18 runs in the 8th and 9th inning combined. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound.
Yer mom 2 Posted August 23, 2007 Holee chriist! Im watching the game right now I cant believe this score is correct!
Big Blue 06 195 Posted August 23, 2007 I just turned it on. That's unreal! The best part of that is that they now have to play the second half of the doubleheader.
Thin Spirit 0 Posted August 23, 2007 I wish the Jays offense could score even a 1/3 of those runs. If so, we may be in the hunt for the wild card.
GiantsRule 0 Posted August 23, 2007 I just turned it on. That's unreal! The best part of that is that they now have to play the second half of the doubleheader. And they'll score 1-2 runs max in that game. That's the way it always works, especially when I bet on the over!
Big Blue 06 195 Posted August 23, 2007 And they'll score 1-2 runs max in that game. That's the way it always works, especially when I bet on the over! When I saw the score, I put in a bet on the under in the second game.
GiantsRule 0 Posted August 23, 2007 When I saw the score, I put in a bet on the under in the second game. You'll win. I just pounded the over. I refuse to believe that the Texas bats are shut down for the night. It's not like they're playing a day-night doubleheader. Then again, I also believed that the Red Sox would get 8 runs tonight on their own. They've eeked out one run through 4 and that was after they had bases loaded with no outs. I'm doing so well in exhibition football and I'm throwing it all away on this stupid f'n non-sport!

I've been riding a bit of a hot streak at baseball. The under seems to obvious to me in this game, so it's probably gonna smash the over and then some. Yer mom 2 Posted August 23, 2007 When I saw the score, I put in a bet on the under in the second game. What arms could Baltimore possibly have left? 30 runs tells me there must have been at least 8+ pitchers? I turrned it on at the end so I couldnt see the box score. Yer mom 2 Posted August 23, 2007 They only used 4 guys. http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=270822201 Pitching coach must have been yelling from the dugout "C'mon you fockin pvssy get an out!"
GiantsRule 0 Posted August 23, 2007 I may buy this back and eat the juice. I've had enough losing tonight.
phillybear 366 Posted August 23, 2007 The 2nd game over under is 10. Hmmm...:scratches chin: Fock it. I'm staying away from that. It could go either way.
phillybear 366 Posted August 23, 2007 I may buy this back and eat the juice. I've had enough losing tonight. I think NYYankees, Chic Cubs, and Colorado are worth a look tonight.
GiantsRule 0 Posted August 23, 2007 I think NYYankees, Chic Cubs, and Colorado are worth a look tonight. You liking the Cubs means I'm staring at 0-3 tonight. Don't trust the Yanks. Indifferent on Colorado. ETA: Indifference my ass! Fvck it! Lets shoot for 0-4. Colorado -1.5 (+165) Let's make SOMETHING good happen tonight!
heavy-set 39 Posted August 23, 2007 someone got a save too
Yer mom 2 Posted August 23, 2007 I think NYYankees Eh, possibly. We fockin OWN the Yanks but im sure they wanna leave town with at least one W. Were throwin Lackey though.......be afraid. My buddy says hes bettin the Yanks team total over 4? Thats a good line, I'd jump on that if I were firin on baseball I guess
Vikings4ever 539 Posted August 23, 2007 someone got a save too That would've been one hell of a blown save.
Big Blue 06 195 Posted August 23, 2007 Don't trust the Yanks. I see what you're saying, especially after the last two games, but the reasons I took the Yankees tonight: This is a must win game for the Yankees. They're 6 back of the BoSox and 4 in the loss back of the Mariners. Andy Pettite is starting; there's nobody better in a big game than Pettite. Also, in 59 August starts, Pettite has got a winning percentage of .726. This game has Yankees win written all over it. On the other hand, they're playing the Angels, the one team that owns them, and Lackey is a very good pitcher.

Thats a good line, I'd jump on that if I were firin on baseball I guess Even though LAA owns NYY at home, and I bet on LAA in the first game of the series, and passed on the season, despite LAA brilliant home record, they are only 15-14 vs lefties at home. Petite is worth a shot. Lackey got roughed up in his last start.

Colorado -1.5 (+165) Let's make SOMETHING good happen tonight! Pittsburgh drives in 2 in the first inning. I'm not at all surprised. It happens every time I take a high-paying runline. 0-4 tonight. That's what I get for having a succesful NFL exhibition season and getting greedy. I've given almost everything back since Monday night.
Yer mom 2 Posted August 23, 2007 they are only 15-14 vs lefties at home. Petite is worth a shot. You and Blue make good points here, ill be rootin against yous but good luck Oh......and were the ANAHEIMANGELS!!!!

Gotta love when you don't have a prayer with a bet from the first pitch! Should have stayed indifferent! ETA: 6-0 in the time it took me to type that. Looks like Colorado mispelled their pitcher's name with an "o" instead of an "a"!

GiantsRule 0 Posted August 23, 2007 Sorry GR. No worries. It's my own fault. If I just played smaller units, or didn't bother with fvcking baseball at all, I would have had a nice bankroll just to start the NFL season. Now it's just about gone. Only shot at salvation is if Giants pull off the upset tonight by 2 runs and I get 8 more runs in the Texas-Baltimore game. And even then, I'll swear off gambling on bases, but just end up coming back like a fvcking crack addict. BTW, 7-0 now. It's almost funny in a perverse way. Yet, the Dodgers keep putting up more and more runs every time I get a scoring update! ETA: 8-0. Pittsburgh scoring at least one run per inning.
