How does this team look?

Recommended Posts

It's a 10 team league, PPR, also 1 pt. for completions/ -1 for incompletions. Drafted 7th. I'm very happy with it, but I wanted to get some other opinions. During the draft, somebody said Deion Branch was a reach in the 5th round. Jordan was a 10th round pick.

QB- Jon Kitna

RB- Joseph Addai

RB- Edgerrin James

WR- Reggie Wayne

WR- Deion Branch

WR- Mark Clayton

flex- Thomas Jones

flex- LaMont Jordan (may start Chambers)

TE- Kellen Winslow

K- Olindo Mare

D- Packers

B- Steve McNair

B- Warrick Dunn

B- Chris Brown

B- Chris Chambers

B- Greg Jennings

B- Brandon Jones

I think it's a solid draft. I too picked Branch and Clayton. Best available from what the FFToday rankings sheet had them. I got Branch in the 4th and Clayton in the 7th. I feel comfortable with them. QB is solid on your team and RB.

Branch was kind of a reach in the 5th round, but he has a very good QB throwing to him.

You went very RB heavy in your draft which is a good thing.

You might want to get a better defense if Green Bay comes out struggling.

Not bad though.

Thanks for the response.

I actually think (and hope) Branch will do well. He should be their go-to receiver this year with Jackson gone.

For defense, the plan is to use the waiver wire throughout the season and exploit matchups against the weak offenses.

yeah, branch in the 5th was a reach. i did mock drafts and also in my actual draft he usually went 8-10 ... that being said, i think he'll be pretty good this year and is being kinda underrated in a lotta places. wr position is kinda lacking depth, but your rb corps is real solid. overall, pretty good team.

help with mine?
