NFL.com/CBSSportsline private league draft.

I drafted 10th out of 12 teams. Here's how it ended up:

QB -- Tom Brady, Phillip Rivers

RB -- Willie Parker, Deuce McAllister,

WR -- Larry Fitzgerald, Donte Stallworth, Jerry Porter

TE -- Antonio Gates

K -- Josh Brown

DST -- Baltimore Ravens

Bench:

Cadillac Williams

LenDale White

Matt Jones

Isaac Bruce

Overall I was pretty pleased, but I'm a little concerned about WR/RB depth. Rivers just kinda fell in my lap in Round 8 and I took him figuring at worst I'd have a stellar backup and at best I could use him in a trade to improve RB or WR.

As a side note, there were only three of us actually at the draft. Not only did we complete all 14 rounds in less than an hour, but some of the autodrafts were hilarious (can you say Vick in the 10th round?). One team took Roethlisberger at 6th overall and followed up with Vinatieri in the second round. I'm guessing they were rather inexperienced at FF

Anyway, any feedback is much appreciated. Leave me a link and I will respond in kind.

Edit: updated with acquisition of Jerry Porter.

I agree, your WR/RB depth is not good. I would definately trade Rivers or possibly even Brady for a good WR/RB combo. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=282879

WR3 could be a problem for you, but I expect Matt Jones to have a good year and Brandon Jones could come on too. I think you need to slot Caddy in as a starter ahead of Deuce, but he is a great #3. And like the other guy said see if you can send rivers somewhere in exchange for depth at WR, with a stud like Brady you should be able to plug someone in on the week of NE's bye and be set the rest of the way.

Have a look at mine,

I'm considering offering Rivers, McAllister and Bruce for Travis Henry and Burress to the guy who took Vick in the autodraft.

What do you think?

I would've said quite good, but since so many were auto-drafting, I'd say merely decent. Depending on how badly the ADer screwed up, the other people who were at the draft could be loaded.

WR and RB depth is a little suspect, but you're set at the other positions.

With Gates and Ravens, you have clear #1 and one of clear best 2 at their positions, which is worth a lot. But I think you sacrificed a too much depth in WR/RB to do that, but that's just my opinion.

Good luck this year!

I think you're alright at RB. I'd be concerned about wideout though. Troll the waiver wire early on, there are always a few WR gems that pop up each season.

I agree on the WR/RB depth. You definately could trade either QB for some help at either WR or RB. You don't need top QB's as much as you need RB and WR. Make a trade with someone who did the autodraft, maybe the guy that got Vick LOL. Good luck

Just saw that somebody dropped Jerry Porter, so I dropped Brandon Jones to pick him up (waivers clear tonight so I'll know for sure...I'm #3 in the order).

If it clears, I'll start Porter instead of Bruce as my #3 WR. If my trade goes through I will be ecstatic with my team.

I think your RB's are servicable but I would agree that a trade of Rivers fo a better WR would be the best move. (I am in the same boat and trying to trade Rivers for Vincent Jackson).

Seems like the best move.

Another player that isn't listed in your draft is Patrick Crayton. Glenn may be slow off the start, so you may get a couple of serviceable weeks from Crayton.

Sep 2 Head coach Wade Phillips indicated after Saturday's practice that Glenn (knee) would be brought along slowly, and wouldn't necessarily start in Week 1, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Recommendation: "I think we'll bring him back slowly as far as Monday is concerned," Phillips said. "It just depends on how he feels. We'll see how much team [practice] we want to do with him on Monday. I expect by Wednesday he would be pretty close to practicing." Glenn's rehab has gone well, however, and we expect him to be ready for the season opener.

I think you're solid all the way around except for WR, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to dish Brady and pick up a fairly studly WR, or Rivers for a lesser one.

Thanks for mine.

Honestly, I would take Rivers now and 2nd - 3rd WR and make an offer to someone to upgrade at WR.

You really need a more solid number 2 RB but you have more depth there. Now is the time to make some trades because nobody has done anything yet...egt to work this week!!!!

I like the team, bro. I think you have a good shot, especially in a league with 12. I think your WR could use a bit more depth, like you said. But I would not go nuts in trying to turn the team over, because you probably made good moves at draft time and thus maximized your potential. Good luck man.

I really like Willie Parker. I realize you have some concerns with your depth, but I'm not sure that it will affect you terribly much. I also have Deuce and I feel comfortable with him...

Don't worry too much about your 3rd receiver. I'd take into account that Gates is going to help out covering some of those points. I think you are in good shape.

Your thoughts on my team would be appreciated.

i like your starters. willie will be a stud and duece will surprise some people. bench is weak but with lendale starting he could be a solid back. i think u should trade rivers and caddy or something for an upgrade at wr2 and maybe another rb.

Thanks for answering mine.

I'm not seeing the same depth problems that everyone else sees here. Caddy's a nice sleeper who should become a good RB2 for you, with the improvements Tampa has made to their offense.

Are you starting 2 QBs? If you are, I'd hold my hand for a couple of weeks (take the trade off the table, if you still can), and see how your players start performing before making any deals. If you're only starting one, maybe trade Brady or Rivers and Porter for a solid lower-tier QB and a WR upgrade, if you're still nervous about it. But I don't see any pressing need to mess with this team right now -- you done good.

Your depth at receiver, including the Porter pick up, is fine. I wouldn't worry about it. Your RB situation, with Deuce splitting carries, could be a headache but you have Caddillac on the bench and I expect him to have a much better season than last year. Your team looks solid.

Thanks for answering mine.

Thanks for your feedback, everyone. I'm going to leave the trade open since I only start 1QB. If they take it, I'll have a great #2 RB and more depth at WR, and if need be I could turn that around later and grab a better WR. If they don't I'm not hurting all that bad.
