Cam Cameron ( The idiot on a power trip )

When will the Dolphins management find out that Cameron ( Who has never been a head coach ever ) is a total idiot and needs to be fired .

 

The guy is totally on a power trip that will cost him victories ( one yesterday ) i mean stop fking around with your RB put one in there and let him run 20 - 25 times so he gets into a rythm and put up yards and maybe scores .

 

He puts Chatman in for 3 plays then put Brown 5 plays then Brown at fullback , ridiculous ( They will never be productive that way , specially when you have no OL or QB's not so sure about thw WR's also ),

 

Brown has been very productive his first two years ( With the worst OL you can find and the worst QB's ) so why do you ruin his confidence by playing with his head like that , Chatman is a journeyman RB in this league dont give him the ball for 50% of the carries or you will end up with no running game like yesterday .

 

I say when the Phins are 0 -7 he gets the hook, he should get the hook right away but they wont ( My $0.02 )

I agree 100%, I am a dolphin fan and I was HOPING,PLEEDEING that chatman would get hurt , so maybee just maybe Cam would get Ronnie more involved. He needs to throw the ball down field rather than this dink and dunk crap we as dolphin fans are used to.there are 8 in the box every down until he does so .

The guys clock management right before the half was a joke, running to straight plays up the gut that got stuffed, and then he doesnt call a timeout until 4 seconds were left. Fortunately, for him, his gamble to go for it and pass on the 3 points, paid off. Still, the guy doesnt impress me at all

A few things did have me scratching my head during the game. I was all for a change of stat quo offensively (RBBC) and went into the game with an open mind and optimism. Then......

 

Chatman fumbles a caught ball in the flat, when the Dolphins were in a good rythmn moving down field. See ya next week Fatman...Right???

 

Nope. In comes Fatman on the next two series, catches a couple insignificant balls out of the backfield (falls down immediately after the catch) and runs the ball like a bum.

 

Brown returns to the game and looks decent as a pass reciever (his forte) and runs hard but to no avail.

 

In comes Fatman again and Brown is moved to fullback in the redzone??? Hmmm......

 

I am convinced Cameron loves Chatman and is very loyal to players that have played for him before. Cameron is an ego maniac and is trying to put his signiture on the offense at the expense of doing whats best for the team

 

The Dolphins by no means lost the game solely based on Cameron's questionable roster moves and playcalling (penalties were a huge factor in the loss) but I cant discount the erratic experimentation with the player packages utilized, just didnt make much sense.......

Why would Cam decide to take a journeyman RB and make him a 50/50 RBBC guy ??? What is he thinking other than wanting to tank games.

 

RB is a power back - with great hands for recieving. backs like that typically get stronger as it wears on. Chatman looks terrible running is -- and looks like a 300 lb rolly polly.

 

Cam Cameron is a solid OC and a good play caller -- starting to think Cam really did want it to be RBBC in San Diego last season -- Just that Marty told him to fock off !!

 

 

Cam won't get fired unless they go like 0-16 or 1-15 -- even then I doubt it -- it will take 2 awful seasons to axe him..

I agree he needs to stick with one main back. If he like Chatmann that much then he needs to have the guts to sit Ronnie Brown and play Chatman . If he thinks Ronnie is the man he needs to let him play more. For some reason ( maybe his past with Chatman ) he loves chatman , I get the feeling if it wasnt for the fact that Ronnie was a first round pick he would have chatman as the starter. Im not saying hes right ( he isnt) but that seems to be what he wants i think. Im not a dolphin fan but If i was I would be calling for his head. He is defently on a power trip.

I think Cam took a look around the league and saw all these successfull RBBC and thought he would like a piece of that action. So he takes a short little umpa lumpa and tries to force feed him into the offense. Problem is, he should be doing this with Booker and not fat boy Chatman. There you would have a true change of pace type RB that is the fad now days. I could live with RBrown charing carries with a playmaker like Booker, not some fat backup who hasn't been in the league for the last 2 years.

it may be true that R. Brown is not as good as where the Phins drafted him (or where he was drafted by a lot of FF teams). So, okay, he's still a starting NFL back, and I think he's the type that gets stronger with more carries.

 

Chatman? He was pretty good at SD, but he's no Mike Turner. That's the only part of this that gets me.

 

They have Green and Chambers, so they might as well start chucking it and see if that opens up teh run. I could see Chatman as a 3rd down back, but I agree that the shuttling in and out just looks like it's predestined for failure. Cam should at least try giving Brown at getting the ball for 95% of the carries and see where that gets him, because there appears to be NO improvement with Chatman in there.

Anyone advocating sitting LT for any reason not related to injury, rest or a game being out of hand is entirely inherently unqualified to be an OC much less a HC.
