SirJiggabins 0 Posted September 14, 2007 I need to choose between Ben Roethlisberger at home against Buffalo and Kitna at home against Minnesota. I need to choose 2 of these 3 WRs: Marques Colston(at Tampa Bay) Larry Fitzgerald (home against Seattle) Calvin Johnson (home against Minnesota) Thanks for the help! vicksdawgs 0 Posted September 14, 2007 I'd go for the throat and use Kitna and Johnson. I'd use Colston with Johnson too as your 2nd WR. Minn secondary is weak but they are good against the run and that plays well into this idea. If you want to play with an insurance policy play Johnson but start Big Ben in case Detroit has problem. But I'm playing Kitna and Roy WIlliams and expecting huge returns....

bdaddy407 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Big Ben! Minnesota's "D" was nasty ( true it was only the Falcons), But Pitt scored how many TD's in the air? Yeah! Big Ben!

I need to choose 2 of these 3 WRs: Marques Colston(at Tampa Bay) Larry Fitzgerald (home against Seattle) Calvin Johnson (home against Minnesota) Thanks for the help! I would have to go Kitna here. MIN has a very good run D and I think Kitna will light up their secondary. With that being said I think you have to start CJ2 as well. As for your other WR I think you go w/Fitz. I know Colston was great last year but Fitz is a proven WR. I would Kitna/CJ2/Fitz and sit back and watch the pts rack up. Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287433
Poloc2289 0 Posted September 15, 2007 If you're not penalized for turnovers then Kitna, but if you are then Big Ben. For your 3 WR's...Definitely Fitzgerald and it's a toss-up between Colston and Johnson...but I'd go with Colston http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287446

Lamb of God 15 Posted September 15, 2007 Seems like everyone is split so far. I vote for Kitna, you know he will throw alot, then Colston and Fitz. mine please http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287458

Fitz is a no brainer, Colston went for 123 and a TD in his last game vs. TB, and Kitna will have to pass vs. Minn. Please help me with mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287598

I need to choose 2 of these 3 WRs: Marques Colston(at Tampa Bay) Larry Fitzgerald (home against Seattle) Calvin Johnson (home against Minnesota) Thanks for the help! I would go with Big Ben at QB. That offense is starting to look dynamic. At WR I would start Colston for sure. You drafted him for a reason and he is not going to see a match up that is much better then this. I like Fitz to bounce back this week with 100 yards and a TD. Side note if you start Kitna thenI would go for the homerun and start Calvin too. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287580

ChickenLittle 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Thanks for answering ... I'd have to say Kitna, Colston, Fitz I think P-Burg will get back to the run vs a bad Bills team. I like NO to rebound nicely against an aging Tampa D and Zona will be chucking all day trying to come from behind. Cal is still too much of a question mark this early in the season. Ray_T 753 Posted September 15, 2007 I need to choose between Ben Roethlisberger at home against Buffalo and Kitna at home against Minnesota. I need to choose 2 of these 3 WRs: Marques Colston(at Tampa Bay) Larry Fitzgerald (home against Seattle) Calvin Johnson (home against Minnesota) Thanks for the help! I disagree with this logic. this is a dangerous move and I'll tell you why: 1) Johnson is a rookie, so there will be a certain number of bad games. he hasnt proven himself to the point where I'd start him ahead of proven top end WR's. 2) you are putting all your eggs in one basket against a pretty good Minnesota D. If Kitna has a bad game, Johnson is guaranteed to also have a bad game. while the reverse may not also be true, you are taking a large risk by starting the QB and WR from the same team unless the QB is Manning, palmer, bulger, or McNabb. I say this because these guys usually put up good numbers regardless of who the defense is. I would start Kitna, and Colston and Fitz. If you insist on starting Calvin Johnson, then I'd bench colston in his place and switch your QB to Rothlisberger. there is one exception to what I have told you: If you are playing a team that is clearly better than you, you can set yourself for an upset by starting the QB and WR from the same team because if the team has a good game, you will get good production from both and may pull an upset. skierdude1000 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Big Ben is an easy start Colston is an easy start Fitz is an easy start Min D is awesome and CJ is still a rookie who has lots of other threats on the team

I need to choose 2 of these 3 WRs: Marques Colston(at Tampa Bay) Larry Fitzgerald (home against Seattle) Calvin Johnson (home against Minnesota) Thanks for the help! I look for Pittsburgh to put up some good numbers running the ball. Kitna should have the better fantasy week of the two, although both should have good games. Colston should have a big day against those Tampa corners. Saints will put up a lot of points in that one. I'd also go Fitzgerald over Johnson. Minnesota is going to be paying close attention to the rookie, especially after scoring a TD last week in his first game. Fitzgerald should have a good day for you. Big Blue 06 195 Posted September 15, 2007 I would play Roethlisberger over Kitna. Kitna might find things tougher in Minnesota than he did last week. Not to mention, Cutler put up 300+ and a TD against Buffalo last week, so Roethlisberger should do very well. I would play Colston and Fitzgerald. I'm just not sold enough on Calvin Johnson after 1 week, Johnson might have a tougher time against Minny this week.

Fantasy Noob 10 Posted September 16, 2007 I like Big Ben, Colston and Fitz. Buffalo's defense is beat to hell. I can't trust the rookie till I see two good weeks out of him, but I dont think Minnesota's Secondary is that good, how is their pass rush? They can stuff the run and pressure Kitna and he makes some bonehead decisions...that said for me its Kitna or Leinhart, ugh so I'm going with Kitna. Thanks for anwsering mine. Big Ben should see some chances to throw it against that hurt BUF defense, go with BB. At WR, Fitz is a must play every week IMO. And I think NO will bounce back from their loss against IND opening night. I expect Colston (their #1 WR) to be a major part of their success this week. thanks for mine
