redtodd 7 Posted September 16, 2007 Bob Sanders. Everytime I watch this guy, I get more and more impressed. It is a whole different team when he is in there. It reminded me of the playoffs last year and how he changed that defense completely around. Without him in the lineup last year, the Colts do not win the Championship. itsbigmoni 1 Posted September 17, 2007 I'm sure if they replaced manning with his backup, they still would've won though.

Sho Nuff 720 Posted September 17, 2007 Yesterday it was the guy operating the clock at the end of the 1st half. Come on guy...give the Titans some home cooking and run that last second off.
He Like Me 0 Posted September 17, 2007 Yesterday it was the guy operating the clock at the end of the 1st half.Come on guy...give the Titans some home cooking and run that last second off. I was shocked by that one too. How that last second stayed on their home turf is beyond me. It saved Manning's a$$ because that was a big fock up on his part. Yeah...he focked up again in the last 2 minutes. How do they call passes when the Titans only had 2 timeouts. If they run the ball, Vince never has a chance. It worked out...but the Titans got close to having another chance at a FG to beat the Colts in large part because of a botched effort at running out the clock. cbfalcon 827 Posted September 17, 2007 You didn't convince me. I still think Peyton Manning is the MVP of the team.

RicemanX 20 Posted September 17, 2007 Bob IS the Colts defense right now.
gocolts 300 Posted September 17, 2007 Yesterday it was the guy operating the clock at the end of the 1st half.Come on guy...give the Titans some home cooking and run that last second off. There was home cocking throughout that game. All those late hits when Colts players were already down. It was obvious. I thought that Manning screwed up that last drive, but not as bad as you think. That first pass play to Marvin is a high probability catch and easy yards. He catches it and falls down after 8 yards and the clock would keep running. Didn't work though. They should have ran at least on 2nd down and maybe 3rd too depending what they would have got on 2nd down. Hindsight is 20
gocolts 300 Posted September 17, 2007 Sanders is bad azz and THE difference maker on D.
illest 0 Posted September 17, 2007 the clock guy couldn't do anything. It should have been stopped @ 2 seconds - pushing it to 1 was pushing it, no way he could have let it roll to 0.
redtodd 7 Posted September 18, 2007 You didn't convince me. I still think Peyton Manning is the MVP of the team. Besides the 2nd half of the Patriots game ( ), he was painfully mediocre in the playoffs last year. Sanders came back from injury to turn the biggest joke of a run defense to a top notch defense in the playoffs. This guy is unbelievable and does not (yet) get the recognition that Ed Reed or Palumalu does. No Sanders, no title for Indy.

Maybe Billick can spare you a few tissues. I thought that Manning screwed up that last drive, but not as bad as you think. That first pass play to Marvin is a high probability catch and easy yards. You have a good/great Oline and Addai. While its a high probability. A run is a sure thing to keep the clock going. Its not just hindsight, its pretty much common sense.
