Make no mistake, it helps that they're crushing the Mets here, and in a world series, I would root for the Yankees over any other team. That said, let's go Phils! I like the Phillies (as a secondary team), but it's not even close to my favorite teams. I hate hate HATE the Eagles, and I think very bad things any time I see an Eagles player. Other than D.Wright, C.Beltran, J.Reyes and pitcher J.Maine, I'd look to get rid of almost everyone else. I'd trade away Lastings Milledge and Ruben Gotay too. I'd also say goodbye to C.Delgado and Paul LoDuca. Omar and Willie should take a hit here too. I think they should fire Omar because he didn't go out and get the pitching that was needed. Instead he brings in guys who are too old. M.Alou and S.Green are not the answer. There is a lot more I could say...But why bother. Good Luck Phillie fans. THAT was amazing.... people in NJ snickered at me when i was out there at the end of august...rivalry week... i said this is when races could be won or lost...obviously, i was focused on the brewers vs cubs and we know how THAT turned out... but that SAME week...howards walk off hr..and the met guy making the last out sliding out of the baseline..i think the phillies won every game that series with the last at bat...sure, the mets collapsed since then..but that series had the mets thinking, oh oh.. and it wouldnt have mattered if the mets-phils had a 1 game playoff in ny..the phils were going to smoke them... as a brewer fan, i must say...prince deserves a TON of mvp votes..but rollin deserves the award...i just wonder if ryan howard splitting the votes might cost j roll..that has happened before... writers who feel a phillie deserve it may be torn...those who vote prince will vote prince...
