I've lived in plenty of apartments. Of all the complaints I might have, smoking neighbors is not one of them. And these days, property owners typically re-paint and re-carpet with a new tenant, so who gives a fock? This is really really really uber dumbtastic. The dumb focks that supported all these bannings in the first place really opened up Pandora's Box. When you can start to outlaw legal activities in the privacy of one's home, and yes apartments are homes, where does it end? And, "I am not fond of the malodorous odor emanating from the cigarettes and clothing of those who partake in nicotine inhalation." Just doesn't have that "ZING". itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 3, 2007 Adam Corolla said it best. He says the NRA is the smartest group because they oppose EVERYTHING. I'm sure they know they don't need automatic rifles, but if they fold on that, then the concessions never end. Smokers should fight every type of legislation. Once they fold on one thing, its gonna keep going. Give a foot, they'll take a yard. This legislation is stupid though. I agree, renters should be able to do it if they want, but their shouldn't be a law banning it. Whats next? When people start smoking on their balconys, it's gonna be, no smoking on balconies.
