Mephisto 15 Posted May 3, 2008 Flyers really need to put these bitches away tonight. I was happy to see the Rangers stretch out the series against the Penguins so that they don't have more rest before the next series than the Flyers. I fully expect the the Flyers to have a tough time against the referees again since this one is back in Montreal. I've given up using Montreal Steak Seasoning for this series in an effort to show my support for the Flyers. You should, too. I recommend Kansas City Steak Seasoning as an alternate. Bag'em up, Flyers. Gametime: 7:00PM EST
tikigods 76 Posted May 3, 2008 I agree the refs in Montreal will have a hard time going against that crowd up there. I was tempted to head up (about 1 1/2 hours away) to see if I could get some tickets on the street....it would probably cost me my first born. Best of luck, Mephisto. I'll be the resident Habs fan tonight.

locogrande 0 Posted May 3, 2008 Gonna be a tough one for the flyers tonight... they have not accomplished anything this playoff season without at least making things interesting first and I expect this series to be no different. Price back in net for the habs tonight - in my mind the game hinges on whether he comes out shaky again or if he plays inspired hockey after being benched. Feeling less confident about this game than all the others so far, thinking 20-25% probability they take it.

But the Habs will probably win this one, 4-2.
IronToe Nedney 0 Posted May 3, 2008 I'll be there tonight, I hope it's not the last game of the season. If we can't get one by Biron in the first 10 minutes, I may just head for the beer counter and watch it on the TV there.

GobbleDog 1,010 Posted May 3, 2008 I don't know much, but I know this: Canadians love two things in life - Molson beer and hockey. No way Montreal lets their country down tonight! LET'S GO CANADA! They better not lose; I got a twenty-spot riding on those canuck-sucking panzies.
tikigods 76 Posted May 3, 2008 In Montreal Tiki. Excellent! Man I love that city. I'm about an hour and a half south of you in northern NH. I go up there every year with my girls' softball team to play in the Montreal Challenge. It's always fun until someone gets their car stolen. We stay over at the Ramada in Dorval. Odie 0 Posted May 3, 2008 Komarsik is a fn beast.... Tha being said.. the better team here is down 3-1... But when the Rangers win in 7, id rather play the flygirls then le habs.
locogrande 0 Posted May 4, 2008 lots of chances for both teams... canadiens are converting and the flyers a muffing shots... seems like not to be tonight

Blitzen 1 Posted May 4, 2008 OK, I'll say it: Price is focking sucking. He's young and it is absolutely showing. As solid as he was against Boston, he is awful right now and has no confidence. For once, Biron is playing somewhat like a normal human being and Price can't do shiat. He can't seem to be able to handle the puck anymore either. Every focking time he handles it, he gives it away. And Hamrlik is playing a god awful game too. From a veteran, that bites. But Jeebus H. Christ, how many focking lucky goals have the Flyers had? They've had some good ones but how many seeing eye shots have they put in top corners? Unfreakinbelievable. Well 20 minutes to save the season. They should get inspiration from San Jose. I doubt he saw the one from Umberger that deflected off of Richards into the top corner stick side. Willie Mosconi would have been proud of that one.

BMoney 0 Posted May 4, 2008 all 3 of those flyer goals in that period were on price. none should have been goals in the playoffs and thats what i was saying last series...when price in on, hes calm and in position..when things are going crazy, he looks like a french version of arturs irbe..always out of position and handling the puck like michael j fox after his 6th cup of coffee... forsberg trade>habs.... seriously...upshall...timmonen...parent...a 1st and 3rd...craig leopold shouldve been shot for making this trade and later leaving to buy the wild

BMoney 0 Posted May 4, 2008 timmonen wasn't in the deal... the 1st rounder was traded back to nashville for timmonen and hartnell but still... i knew someone would catch that, and youre right..kimmo wasnt in on the original deal... but peter was traded for a pick and the flyers sent that back back for more players..so i consider it the same trade.... IronToe Nedney 0 Posted May 4, 2008 Well that was depressing, Carey was sieve like again. Too young is right, but he will get better. I like our chances in the next 3-4 years. The Flyers looked pretty good out there, they may surprise Pittsburgh. Meh, I'm sad.

tikigods 76 Posted May 4, 2008 Awesome, I live about 3 minutes from there. I remember that stolen car thing from last year, bastards. The Ramada hasn't had too many problems with stolen cars but at the fields is where the theives camp out and take them. We've been lucky so far. I guess this summer they're beefing up security at the fields. I miss the Expos. We used to practically live up there when I was going to college over in Vermont. Good times. Montreal is such an incredibly awesome place.
Blitzen 1 Posted May 4, 2008 Now Philly has to remember that the Penguins ###### their pants and dropped a game on purpose to face Ottawa instead of them. May the Umberger be with you!!!
