They were much improved over the 2nd half of last season after Harris was inserted into the starting line up following the Vilma injury. Now they added a bigger NT in Jenkins who is better suited for the 3-4, a solid 3-4 LB in C.Pace, and an edge rusher in Gholston. Revis, and K.Rhodes anchor what could be a pretty good secondary. Sorry but I'm not buying into Minnesota as the #1 overall defense, I look at the top 5 and I see no difference between them and the next 5 on the list. Big_Pete 0 Posted June 28, 2008 Denver. They were one of the worst last year, but they are going back to a familiar system, and upgraded a lot of positions. Hasselbeck, Brady, Bulger, Warner/Leninart, Edwards are not what I would classify as bad QBs. Alex Smith is horrible and the Dolphins current situaion is bad. I also don't see them running up the score on anybody making me think that the opposing team won't have to shoot it out either, just some thoughts. I haven't looked up their schedule yet, but that's the first defense I would consider, although the Pats look nice considering they apparently have the number one easiest schedule for a defense, and they'll probably know what the other teams plays are, haha.
