I can agree to this. With such huge rosters, there really shouldn't be as big of a need.

 

I sent the moderating team an email petition for board status yesterday. I'm just waiting for a response.

0.1pt per 1 yard rushing/receiving

1pt per 35 yards passing

2pt - 2 point conversions ?

-2 for int ?

-1 or -2 for fumble lost to opponent ?

All FG 3pts ?

Missed FG (from certain yardage) -1pt ?

1pt for XP

-1pt for missed XP?

Also, why do we have to wait to select the order? I say we set it ASAP.

 

It's incentive based. We don't want people casually backing out because they get cold feet due to their draft pick.

I'm not a big fan of negative points in general. So much of INTs, missed kicks etc.... have nothing to do with the individual player's performance. I'll give you fumbles, but that's about it.

Sucks when they just toss it up at the end of a half and it's picked.

 

Sucks when it's a fluke, tipped ball for a pick.

 

Sometimes it's the pass catchers fault, with a route run wrong, fell down, etc.

 

In short, often it's not the QB's fault when a pick happens, IMO and should not be penalized for it, again, IMO.

I'm just not into penalizing players or fantasy teams for things that can be out of the control of the indivdual player. Like I said, I can see fumbles, but even then the QB might have given a bad handoff.

 

ETA: If you are going to penalize INTs, make it -1.

Trading - all trades go through automatically and there is no bitchin and moanin just because YOU may not think it is fair. Dynasty leagues always seem to have lopsided trades and there is nothing worse when owners are always calling for the trade to be overturrned.

I think someone said earlier that we are allowing trades of draft picks up to 3 years out. That is the norm in most dynasty leagues.

I have been commish of a league for 12 years and if someone thinks a trade is questionable they bring it to me. if I think it is questionable, I call the 2 players and discuss it with them,

I've overturned one trade ever. It was Edge James for Troy Brown about 3 years ago. LOL..And even then, after I overturned it the involved owners half convinced me that they did it on the up and up.

 

So yeah. The ability to overturn a trade has to be there. It just shouldn't be used....ever
