Hmmm, perhaps my goatee-insecure theory doesn't hold as much water as I had thought. I'm still convinced that men who wear jewerly are generally insecure. remote controller 143 Posted July 10, 2008 My goatee has been a fixture since the old slow pitch softball days, back in the early 80's. When I get rid of it, I don't feel whole. wiffleball 4,790 Posted July 10, 2008 I'm really debating on the whole goat thing. I've had mine for years now and, when I ask the ladies, they all say "keep it". Pros: Shaving is a breeze. Cons: Maintenance is a pain. It's never straight. I look like a Picaso. Starting to get some gray in there. Damned if I'm dyeing it. The thing is, growing one back is the suck.
