so now Farve would have retired 3 times and come back. Granted IMO he is better than Sage and would benefit Minny but damn dude needs to stay retired just for the sake keeping some dignity.

 

Couldnt agree more. Hes a selfish, me-first doosh that needs to go away. Doesnt anyone remember that he single-handedly LOST the biggest game of the year for the Jets against the "mighty" Dolphins last year and is a coach and team killer? Did everyone forget that? He got progressively WORSE as the year went on and outside of a few big games against Sh!t defense, he was barely better than what Minny already has.

 

Here is exactly how it will go if Minny signs him:

 

Weeks 1 thru 4 - Mr. Selfish will go 3-1 and throw some TD passes. Vikes fans will beat-off and so will ESPN about how great he is.

 

Weeks 5 through 8 - Mr. Selfish starts to show chinks(No, not Chinese people) in the armor and will go 2-2. The DUMB throws and horrible interceptions will start.

 

Weeks 9 through 13 - Mr. Selfish starts to reveal his over-the-hill "skill-set" and the picks outnumber the TDs. The media will still circle-jerk him and it wont be his fault at all even though by now he will have been responsible for losing games with lousy decisions and nagging injuries. The teams record is 3-2 in this stretch but they have win IN SPITE of Brett, not because of him. Vikes fans are panicking...

 

Rest of season - Mr. Selfish collapses just like he did for the Jets and yet ESPN still jerks him off. The picks are thrown at a record setting pace and he avoids the media and hard questions. The Vikes crumble completely and either dont make the playoffs or get hammered in the first round because Favre has a Jake Delhomme performance and costs the team their season. AGAIN.

 

Off season - He retires again...and again he focks over some team with false promises and expectations that are NEVER realized. Yet, AGAIN, the world shlops it up and buys-in.
