CUBuffs 0 Posted September 23, 2008 wow.....didn't think the Rams could get any worse, but then they send TrINT Green out there. WOW! Just WOW!
Belushi 9 Posted September 23, 2008 Looks pretty smart using a high pick on a WR instead of a QB to come in and groom for the future, doesn't it? This organization is pathetic.
wiffleball 4,691 Posted September 23, 2008 When asked about his upcoming start Green replied: "I'm really excited about it. The way we beat the Patriots last week was really inpiring, but we've got a huge challenge ahead in San Diego. We may have gone 1-15 last year, but we've really turned things around." si.com
titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted September 23, 2008 What, are the Chiefs and the Rams having an interstate contest for who can field the sh!ttiest pro football team ever or something? Rams: Gonna start Thigpen are ya? Well played sir. Well I'll see your Thigpen, and raise you Trent Green. Chiefs: Damn... Tim Tebow - "Come out a year early and play for either the Lions, the Chiefs, or the Rams... No thanks, I'm on a better team here in Gainesville."

Law 220 Posted September 23, 2008 What, are the Chiefs and the Rams having an interstate contest for who can field the sh!ttiest pro football team ever or something? Look out! Grammar police! Interstate is between two or more states while intrastate is within one state. Now back to our regularly scheduled thread.
AnaheimRams 28 Posted September 23, 2008 Something to think about. Look at the Rams history, coaching moves, W/L record, drafting, FA moves, etc in the 7 or 8 years before they moved out of Anaheim. Compare that period to the last 4 or 5 years. Similarities are uncanny. When most teams want a new stadium... they buy themselves some short term success to bring in tax-payer support then hit them for a new facility. Once they have it, they go back to being the mediocre schlubs they always were. (See San Diego Padres) The Rams just turn the 'suck' knob up one notch each year until there is so much hometown apathy they can move without causing anyone too much concern. The Rams Lease expires in 2015... but there are several provisions in the lease that allow them to break it sooner. My prediction: The Rams attempt to move back to LA within the next 4 years. Could probably trigger a big court case... but they will try it. If they don't get a new stadium, they are definitely gone from St. Louis at the end of the lease.
