Colts/Cowboys was my prediction at the start of the season, and of course I am sticking by it until it becomes impossible.

 

The AFC just isn't scary this year. I see the Colts as a team that simply knows how to win at this point, and will be able to knock off the Jets or Titans of the conference.

 

The NFC is weak this year and the Giants have been exposed as frauds. The Panthers are a joke team that is doing it with smoke and mirrors. We can beat the rest of the chump teams easily.

Colts will have a tough time if they play in PIT. Panthers have the right mixture to win it all... solid running game, big time WR and physical DST that can get sacks and shut people down. Peaking at good time.

 

Colts lack of a consistent running game will hurt them and they need Bob Sanders playing every week to have a chance. I don't see those two things improving.

 

As for the Cowboys, too many hurdles.

The main reason I disagree with the Cowboys making it is that they would have to win almost, if not all the playoff games on the road. I just don't see that happening. Can they make the playoffs? Man oh Man this post couldn't be any more wrong (with the exception of the Panthers comments)...From an unbiased point of view, the Colts have already beaten Pittsburgh IN PITT...Sure the Colts running game isn't great, they have been serviceable enough to set up the PA pass, and Addai is getting healthier and Saturday is coming back soon, which will help tremendously...Bob Sanders probably could have played the last few weeks, but why test him against the BROWNS, BENGALS, and LIONS...He is as important to the Colts Defense as anyone else in the league, and his presence is absolutely crucial. He will be healthy, and is already said he will play this week, if he stays healthy, the Colts defense will be very very legit...Member what they did the year the won the superbowl?? Gave up like 190 yards/game in the regular season, Sanders comes back and they shut down Larry Johnson and Jamal Lewis (2 of the best running teams in the league), and go on to win the SuperBowl...
