America's Team will stomp the Eagles and go on to win the Superbowl

Recommended Posts

We will have to wait and see xeno...... :music_guitarred:

I can say a year ago at this exact point I was giving my guys (Giants) no chance based on 15 games of play. In fact, when they lost to Washington last year, I said the same thing about them (that they didn't want it), so you are exactly right here...we will have to wait and see. The game that turned everything around for them, as we all know, was the week 17 game with NE, and I can say it would be hard not to keep that in the back of my head as I watch this Dallas Philly game because we know what both are capable of when playing their A game.

Agreed. Drama till the end, what more could we ask for.

I really do feel that THIS Dallas team will respond better to being "counted out" then being "the team to beat"....and that stage is sorta being set for them. Of course if they get in, they prob will be favored in the first round :music_guitarred:

In the NFC this year, the 5 and 6 seeds will be regarded as more dangerous than the 3 and 4 seeds, particulalry if Tampa isn't one of them.

Dallas hasn't won a big December game in years, and I don't see why that will change on Sunday. Anything is possible in a rivalry game with so much on the line, but I like Philly's chances.

Dallas will come out motivated, the one i worried about against Baltimore was Romo and he stepped it up in the 2nd half to get them in position to win ....the defense broke down......i dont see that happening again i see Dallas winning 24-20

When exactly has Dallas clicked on all cylinders this year?

They beat an injury depleted Giants team, got beat by a Cards team that has showed themselves to probably be in the bottom 15 in terms of toughness and worthiness in the NFL these past few weeks, and now they have to deal with injuries to MB3, Witten, and the fact that Romo plays like a 3 year old with Down Syndrome the second the calendar turns to January 1st.

once again, you are a focking idiot. Dallas has been injury depleted all year. thats no excuse. how bout 8 sacks on manning?

the fact is Dallas has underachieved. the o-line has never regained it's form from last yr. i really hope Holland is playing LG this week. Procter sucks.

Dallas controls it's own destiny. they can play with any team in the NFL. can they finish? we will see.

if they get past the eagles, i like their chances at minny or chicago. then who knows? anything is possible.

What? Newman, Romo and Barber all missed some games, so focking what? Don't even mention Adam Jones. Felix Jones was your biggest loss, and he was merely a #2 back.

Dallas hasn't had it worse injury-wise then any other playoff contender this year.

Injuries are all apart of the game. Agreed.

In the NFC East, Philly and Washington have had their fare share of injuries, and no one's crying about it. The Giant have had a few, but nothing significant.

From what I can remember of Hard Knocks with the Cowboys this summer, their coaches ranted and raved about virtually every player on their roster. So the injury excuse should be minimal based on what their own coaches have said about depth of talent they have on the active roster.

The Patriots lost the league MVP and their starting RB, and they have a chance to win the division.

Well, their coaching staff is pretty lackluster. I can imagine a team with absolutely no leadership would have a hard time getting something out of their backup players

Injury depleted is the Seahawks starting Seneca Wallace and 5 usually non-starting Olinemen.

Or the Packers having like 4 starters on the IR right now. (Jenkins, Barnett, Bigby, and Tauscher)

Their HC is a mediocre DC at best, and their offensive co-ordinator is showing he isn't all he's cracked up to be.

I was singing the praises of Jason Garrett earlier this year, but he hasn't shown any improvement over last year. He's a poor man's Andy Reid at best.

Looks like the great citizens of America have voted and chosen Dallas as the Superbowl favorite.

If you define the playoffs as "lose and you're out", the Cowboys have essentially already made the playoffs.

So here's your likely Dallas playoff schedule:

at Philadelphia

at Minnesota

at New York

at Carolina

Super Bowl

There's your road to a 6th world championship.

Personally, I think the team will show up and beat Philly, but once that happens they will constantly hear about the not winning a playoff game in 13 years and even though they might say it doesn't, that has to mess with their confidence at least a little bit. But, I think they can and will beat Minnesota and once they get over that hump, I can just about guarantee a Superbowl appearance, that Wildcard win will do wonders for uniting this team!

I no I am getting a little ahead of myself, but I feel this is how it will play out.

Number 6 is coming!

"UNLEASH THE FURY, COWBOYS"!! :shocking: :wall:

The Giants and Cowboys have had many injuries. Where is Osi? What happened to Romo, MBIII? Face facts! The Eagles and Redskins are the trash of the division. See you Sunday.

Alright, focker, time to put up or shut up.

If the Eagles win this weekend, you will not post on this board until the draft (and if you post under an alias, even Pimpdaddy or whatever that ahole's name is, you ban yourself).

If Dallas wins, I will stay off of the board until the draft.

Buck up or pipe down. What's it gonna be?

Do we have a bet? You talked trash and called me out here. I accepted so man up and post a reply.

um ok. i was responding to the doosh's excuse that the reason the giants lost to the Cowboys was because the were "injury depleted". the Cowboys have dealt with key injuries at a much higher rate than the giants this yr. if anything the giants have been mostly fortunate with injuries this yr. sans the handgun incident with plex. but i dont really count stupidity. if that bullet had been a little one way or the other, he'd have been a Darwin award recipient for sure.

Oh my! You lost Romo to a broken pinkie for 3 games other than that you've had a BACKUP RB gone for the season and a few nicks and dings here and there. You sure as hell never went into a division game missing your starting Tackle, RB, and WR at the same time.

get your facts straight. the Cowboys have had multiple injuries in their secondary, with their starting SS R.Williams and best cover corner, T.Newman missing significant time. Watkins on the IR. the o-line has not been the same without LG Kyle Kosier. say what you want about the pinkie, but if a QB cant grip the ball properly, then it's a significant injury. Felix Jones was more than a backup. he was a very promising weapon in Dallas' backfield. and one that people forget about is Anthony Spencer. him coming back has been a tremendous boost to the Cowboys pass rush and defensive toughness.

i realize you're gonna be an idiot in your analysis of the Cowboys. so bring on your next lame comment.

Dallas has had the most injuries of any team this year and we still are in line for a 10-6 season and playoff berth. Dallas is far superior than their record and this will show in the playoffs.

Dallas got to 10-6 after Sunday and they lost Romo for three games and MBIII for basically 4 games. They lost felix jones for the season and lost Kosier for the season. They had to endure three games with Brad "checkdown" johnson and lost two games by bad luck to the cards and Redskins. I don't want to hear Giants fans whine about inuries. They were all high and mighty when they lost Osi saying they still could win and they did. Now they are saying the 8 sacks on eli was a result of no plax and Brenda. I didn;t know they played offensive line giants fans.

Roy Williams hasn't been able to cover anybody in years. I seem to remember Eli seperating his shoulder last year and still toughing it out.

Just heard something on ESPN NFL radio.

They were discussing the games sunday and they had 2 callers from the philly team,

the first player was brian dawkins saying that Dallas's defense was weak and they act like they are big chumps all the time and said that they were going to stoop them down to another level sunday.

2nd player was hank baskett, saying that dallas is overrated and said that they were weak and started talking about demarcus ware saying that his records were garbage and that he would't break it sunday.

the call-in guys were shocked and said guys, you better not let the dallas players hear this, it was alot of smack coming from a team who just lost to a sad washington redskins team.

The Eagles are trash!

Anyone notice how similar we are to the 06-07 Chargers?

Chargers:

2006: Regular season went 13-3, record number of pro bowl players, lost their first playoff game

2007: Started off regular season very rocky, but then finished 10-6 and made the playoffs and got the AFC conference championship.

Cowboys:

2007: Regular season went 13-3, record number of pro bowl players, lost their first playoff game

2008: Started off regular season very rocky, but if we win this sunday we end up 10-6 and make the playoffs.

Just thought i'd point it out

Where are those Eagle Fans, I want, a bird sandwich.

We are here in the last game for all the marbles, and we are going to kick the EAGLES Ausss

6th SB Victory is on the horizon. :(

Here is the funny thing I hope Dallas destroys the Eagles by like 20 points so the Eagles will finally fire the Fat Man. I am sick and tired of Reid so I am hoping for a Dallas blow out so management will finally fire Reid.

My team might only win 5 games this year, but I'm proud of how they've handled everything this season. It reflects on Holmgren, who is straight up class.

Ask an intelligent Cowboys fan like Sirensong how proud he is of the Cowboys this season.
