My Negro! 3 Posted March 24, 2009 Stafford had a 38, Sanchez 29, and Freeman 28. Not brilliant but a very solid group. When you think that Vince Young had a 6 it makes you wonder why the Titans drafted him. I think you get three points for spelling your name right.
MTSkiBum 1,605 Posted March 24, 2009 Young reportedly had a 7, but during a retake scored a 16. Alot of the WR's coming out in this years draft scored pretty low.

I'm sure if I redid all of my exams I could improve on my score. And I'm not sure you need your WR's to be that smart. They need to adjust for hot routes if there's a blitz coming, or be able to find a hole in the zone, but they don't need to be rocket scientists (see Ocho and TO). QB and linemen are probably where you need smart players the most.
Steelers 1 0 Posted March 25, 2009 The only thing you need to know from that Wonderlic test is that Brett Favre scored a 22 and Alex Smith scored a 40. Pretty good predictor of who would be a better QB, huh?

Joey Gladstone 33 Posted March 25, 2009 The only reason you should look at the Wonderlic is when somebody does alarmingly bad...ala Vince Young's first attempt.

I agree..they said that CJ had the brains of an Ox..but the WR spot is different that the QB spot.
