Trying to resist taking Donald Brown

Worried about Beanie's health

Worried about Knowshon being a Bronco

Really having trouble looking past Donald "duck" Brown...

Talk to a Brotha... MB

*** UPDATE***

ps. I have the 3rd pick and Reggie Wayne is going first... So I get one one these three... If Moreno goes 1:2 then I might have to take Brown over Wells...

Take it to the little help board.... :shocking:   ...G

p.s. take Moreno (he's a better player and will start much sooner).

I would probably stick with Moreno, best talent of the RB's this year and a very good opportunity to be rookie of the year.Flip side to that is the fact that while we play for money, we also play for fun and it's ALOT more fun to have players on your team that you really like and look forward to watching every week. If you have these 3 extremely close in your projections then I would say you should go with the guy you like.

This is why I love auction drafting. You could target all three, and go with the one you get best value on. But on your question...

I'm not high on Wells. He developed a rep for getting dinged up at Ohio State, he missed three COLLEGE games plus parts of three others last year. He runs with that straight-up Eddie George style. He caught only 15 passes in three years at OSU and Arizona only ran the ball 21 times/game last season. He'll never get up there in touches.

Knowshon Moreno ran a 4.62 at the combine. For a guy of his size, I just can't get past that. That's just me.

Brown is probably your best bet. He'll share with Addai, but I think he has more speed and strength. The word is he'll break more tackles than Addai, and probably produce more long runs. He ran for over 2,000 yds and 18 TDs at UCONN last season, and capped it with 260 yds in his bowl game. But MOST importantly, Bill Polian calls him "scintillating." No GM has scored on 1st round picks like Polian for as long as I can remember.

Myself, I took Shonne Greene in my auction keeper league. Man, I absolutely LOVE that Jet offensive line. I won't need him to play this year. They have QB issues, but I'm banking on one stepping up by next season. Plus their defense is improved. There a decent chance Thomas Jones will be going elsewhere by next season. Ryan already loves Greene, who's an absolute beast, and I've heard he's been downright nasty in camp. Another reason why I LOVE auction/keeper. You can take a guy a season out and cultivate him for next season.

Donal brown is who I would take. He is a top notch handcuff who even with only getting 40% of the carries is still gonna put up #3 to #4 Rb fantasy stats. If addai gets hurt, then brown would tear it up. J daniels loves RBBC cluster focks. beanie has injury issues and how can we be sure about the cards running game

Westbrook is 30 with injury concerns already. McCoy will be the man by next year.

Over the long haul I would rather have Moreno. Things look rocky in Denver, but if it keeps going in this directio McDouche will get fired in 2 years.

I could take Ray Rice at 1:3 as well... An option worth mentioning... MB

Look no further. Rice is the real deal in Baltimore. The coaching staff love him, he's bulked up this year but hasn't lost any speed, and he's been taking the first team reps so far in training camp. McGahee is hurt yet again before a season even begins and has even conceded that Rice has earned the right to be the starter. The Ravens have a good offensive line, just added Pro Bowler Matt Birk at Center, and their defense will always keep games close meaning lots of touches for their backs (with Rice the star of the bunch).

I've been able to get Rice pretty late in all the mocks. I think he could be an MJD type of player this season.
