I picked 11th and 14th in 12-man league and got Brady then Moss. Then got Grant/Roy williams/Ward/Bush/L Moore/Crabtree. Got Garrard and Hill as my backup QBs. I'll be alright as long as no injury to Brady or Moss. More than ever I think luck plays a big part in winning or losing. Last year I had an decent team at best and ended up winning the championship despite 2nd/3rd/4th(lynch/parker/burress) didn't do ###### for me. Just kind of piece meal my team and I got lucky in winning.

PATSSOX 22 Posted August 25, 2009 Has anyone drafted both Brady and Moss? Possibly taking one in the late 1st and one in the early 2nd? If you did, how did the rest of your team end up? had my first draft last thursday and i was 11th pick in 12 team NON-PPR. Went Brady than Moss and picked 6 strait RBs after that. i am happy with my team as long as LJ and Pierre have good years. but i would advise if you do go with the ultimate DBL Points you take a bunch of backs if you league is RB heavy like mine and hope a couple pan out. your also probably gonna be weak at one spot. my WR2 is Kevin Walter but he is serviceable and if Chris Henry does finally live up to his potential than ill be OK. 1st-Brady 2nd-Moss 3rd-Pierre Thomas 4th-Larry Johnson 5th-Marshawn Lynch 6th-Lendale White 7th-Fred Jackson 8th-Donald Brown 9th-Kevin Walter 10th-Dustin Keller 11th-Chargers Def 12th-Chris Henry 13th-Kevin Curtis 14th-Pats Def 15th-Ryan Longwell 16th-David Garrard

PATSSOX 22 Posted August 25, 2009 I am sure your league is thanking you for your annual donation Yea i really did not want to draft Brady and Moss. But i felt i got lucky atleast with some of the backs that fell to me. the backs were going fast and i was really not liking my idea to abort my original plan. ive got a lot of IF's to have a very good season. 1-If Pats and Brady and Moss have anywhere close to 2007 ill be just fine 2-If LJ can return to form 3-If Pierre Thomas isnt as big of a bust as i think he is going to be(but were i got him ill take him) 4-If Marshawn Lynch can live up to RB1 billing he was or Freddy Jackson comes through 5-if Kevin Walter or Chris Henry can be consistant ill be OK If 2 of those come true i will be Also EDJR id like to see your first draft?????? when you do it so i can laugh

So your draft strategy is based on who you don't want others to pick? Wow! That is some real savvy fantasy strategy. I wish more guys like you were in my big money league.
