rlb 0 Posted October 29, 2009 I would be giving up Moreno for Ricky and like the deal due to Morenos brutal upcoming schedule as well as Ricky playing like he is 23 instead of 32 years old so far this year. Tough to give up on a heralded rookie but the stats dont lie. Do they? I would appreciate any feedback on which RB is a better bet from here on out, both in the short and long term. At 2-5 my immeditate need is the short term. Leave a link and I will reply to yours. Thanks in advance.
Andrew Martinez 0 Posted October 29, 2009 At 2-5 and looking for the short-term, I would do it. You need wins, and you need them fast. Go with the guy who has the hot hands Thanks for mine

I would do it unless it's a keeper. Then I might write off the season. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355507
falconfan22 0 Posted October 29, 2009 Hard to let a starter go for a committee guy but the stats tell the story of a guy that produces with limited touches and one that doesn't with and adequate amount. Maybe Moreno will get better but Ricky has scored 5 TD's in the last 3 games and he does look good. 70-99 carries williams-moreno. Moreno's schedule gets easier on the 10th week through the rest of the season, Ricky's starts this week and looks pretty good the rest of the way. If Ricky keeps producing then I say this is a good trade for you, was Moreno a starter for you? I would say that right now Ricky is a #2 back or good FLX if you have a lot of depth. Weeks 8-9 Moreno probably will not help you much against the Ravens and Steelers. Ricky did decent against the Jets last time (11-78 Rush, 3-70 Rec) Good Luck. boilerddd 62 Posted October 29, 2009 I guess it would depend if this is a keeper league or not. If it is redraft, then I would trade for Ricky. I would probably hold onto Moreno otherwise. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355461
pooleman 0 Posted October 29, 2009 I would probably do it as well. Ricky plays second fiddle to Brown but the Dolphins run the ball so much it is like they have 2 starting RB's playing on their team. Looking at the short and long term, the Dolphins appear to have a slight edge in an easier rushing schedule.

jdibella 0 Posted October 29, 2009 I would say go for this deal. I'm not sold on Moreno and Ricky is proving that he can produce. Thanks for responding to mine.
1LAMBERT58 0 Posted October 29, 2009 I would go with Moreno - just think he is ready for some break out games - I am actually trying to get him myself.
Go long 0 Posted October 29, 2009 I would get Ricky due to the fact that he will get his carries every week. he has the hot hand and you need some wins now. However, if you are in a keeper league, keep Moreno as his prospects next year look to be very good in Denver. thanks for mine.
throttlers 0 Posted October 29, 2009 Redraft get Ricky, keeper stick with Moreno. Thanks for mine.

Thanks for helping me with the Roster Logjam. http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=501967 Do it. You need to make moves to save your season. Moreno has cooled some and the Moreno/Bucky RBBC isn't nearly as dynamic as the Miami one. Ricky is a viable RB2 with a good schedule.
ClifG 0 Posted October 29, 2009 Redraft get Ricky, keeper stick with Moreno. Thanks for mine. It's been said a few times, but this is my feeling as well. At 2-5 if it's a keeper league you should try to stay competitive but not give up any potential stars for next year. If it's not a keeper league, go with Ricky and try to scratch out a few wins now. pitsteel 0 Posted October 29, 2009 in redraft league i like williams, keeper league moreno has alot of upside please see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355543
Flutieflakes 0 Posted October 30, 2009 I just can't see it. Ronnie is in charge of that offense and ricky is usually hit or miss. i would stick with the #1 guy for the Broncos. He will be great around playoffs! Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355546
gram 0 Posted October 30, 2009 im not huge on the trade. i would keep moreno. I dont see the purpose in the trade. thnx for mine
Bully Bears 0 Posted October 30, 2009 I think I'd prefer Moreno either way but especially in a dynasty league.
Plexx 0 Posted October 30, 2009 This is a tough call...Moreno should have quite a bit of upside the rest of the year, but the broncos play conservative and are at liberty to do so with their defense as strong as it is..so he'll be consistent at best. Ricky is running as well as any RB in the league right now...the Dolphins are getting better every week and Ricky's ability is really opening that offense up...I would look for it to continue unless one of them goes down with injury... So given your current position I'd go with Ricky for the rest of this year thanks for mine
TwentyFourSeven 23 Posted October 30, 2009 Do it. I'm trying to trade for Ricky myself. Stupid owner in a money league doesn't check their inbox. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355587
