I can't camp at all---and after 2 weeks of playing FFA and most games ending with me throwing the controller & screaming "F*&! YOU CAMPERS" I have to say it's pretty damn effective if you can pull it off.

 

I have a few of 30 - 0's on FFA, all before I got the nuke.

 

Now that I have the nuke it takes away pavelow so it's harder, but I do have a 30 - 1 with 1 nuke so far

I started using the scar again. Now that i discovered scavenger, the ammo isn't an issue. I wish it had a bigger clip, but you can't have the perfect gun. My favorite set up is

I have had a few 10:1 ratio's since going back to the scar. In 2 days, i've raised my k/d ratio from 1.16 to 1.20. I think it'll continue to climb into the 1.75 area. My goal is to get to 2, but thats a lofty goal.

 

I refuse to use akimbo shotguns, but any suggestions on what to use as a secondary?

Not knowing how good you are, but you have to be really good to get in this area, it is hard to maintain it.

Are you anti-akimbo everything? I've been using akimbo G-18s and almost never lose any close range shootouts.

I use to defend it, and say it was 50/50 when getting thrown in a match but I swear it seems a lot more like 70/30 that I get thrown in a match and my team is losing by 2,000 points already. A lot of time when it is that bad i just spectate and watch how terrible the team I was supposed to be on is. You still get the loss this way which is ghey, but fun to watch some of these morons play.

That's because TDM is for newer players. Newer players quit more often when they're losing. It's not gonna put you on a winning team often, because there aren't typically open spots on winning teams as no one quits from those.

You dont get as much XP playing FFA as you do in others. Also dont you only use the same weapon and perks? Those 10k in points can really add up. I had a match the other day where I got 34k bonus

actually the 1st 2 months I only played S&D, that is where I got screwed.

 

I have started using new weapons, I have done well with the ACR, maybe I'll try a SUB next

I haven't tried the g-18's. I think using the shotguns is a cheap way of playing. Same thing with the lightweight/marathon stabbing people. Its part of the game so i don't mind when other people use that strategy, but i refuse to do it. Maybe i don't mind others doing it as much because it doesn't seem like they get me very often. Sure i get stabbed, but i rarely have a situation where i'm mad i got stabbed. Usually its a reasonable stabbing.

 

Last night, i was the suck. I think the MW2 gods were getting back at me for my post or something. I only had 2 bars too so maybe that had soemthing to do with it. Earlier in the day i was averaging 20-5. I go on last night, i was lucky to be 2-3 above even. I plyed about 10-15 matches and only got a predator missle onc and didn't even make it to the harrier strike. I guess thats the way it goes.

The marathon/lightweight bullshiit ruined S&D. It's just a sprint toward the opposing spawn point with like two guys sniping. Also, heartbeat sensors focked it up too. With the weapons available on MW2, and the great job they did balancing them evenly (no MP40 type weapons that just rape) I don't enjoy wasting that improvement by playing matches that last 20 seconds and only have tac knives, noob tubes and snipers. It's better than TDM because better players tend to play it, but it just doesn't feel right on this game. I think with all of those things, plus the addition of customizable killstreaks up to 25, this game is geared more toward objective based, long-lasting games that allow you to use things like the killstreaks, and perks like scavenger, etc to your strategic advantage.

 

 

Sabotage is good on this one, compared to the mess it was on WaW, and Demolition is kind of the MW2-ized version of S&D.

Also, I refuse to play Search until they patch the spawn toobing. Why they continue to release games with that shiit possible is beyond me. They had to fix it in COD4, and WaW, yet MW2 comes out and it's still possible. I don't do it, other than against fagg0ts that talk alot of garbage in the lobbies. Nothing better than taking out 4-6 people instantly and watching about 2k in points pop up.

See? Easy. I did this like the first two weeks the game was out and its just a lame way to play. I'm surprised more people dont do it. You can do it on the objective based game modes too (just go to the right spot, line your gun up with the green marker indicating the flag, keep your gun in line while pointing it straight up as far as you can go, and fire both nades. I got quite a few nukes on Afghan this way. Killed 8 people with one shot on ground war domination who were taking A. Harrier dropper the spawn point/A again and had chopper gunner within 30 seconds. We were playing as a clan and would have raped/nuked them anyway, so I was just doing it for laughs, but the other team sent me messages for like 10 minutes after the match.

Something BIG is brewing here. Even PS3's not connected to the internet are fucked. Apparently only the new "slim" models are unaffected. We may be looking at replacement PS3s for millions.
