The former University of Texas star has not been arrested and was not at Club Onyx in the 10500 block of Wire Way near West Northwest Highway when police arrived about 3:30 a.m. in response to a report of a physical altercation, police said. Mike FF Today 613 Posted June 14, 2010 Update: Young issued a Class C assault citation DALLAS -- Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was issued a Class C assault citation after an incident at a Dallas-area strip club early Sunday morning. According to security video of the incident, Young exchanged words with a man, indentified as Creiton Kinchen, in the manager's office of Club Onyx after Kinchen insulted Young and made a sign referencing the University of Texas, Young's alma mater. Young then left the office, only to return and throw a punch at the man, leading to a brief scuffle. "This [Kinchen's comments] obviously made Mr. Young upset," Police Lt. Craig Miller said. "That conversation continues and there was more accusations against the University of Texas which prompted, in this case, Mr. Young to come back into the room where he just about exited." According to the police report, Kinchen sustained a bloody lip in the fight, but did not require medical attention. NFL spokesperson Greg Aiello declined comment but Miller said the NFL had reached out to Dallas police regarding the incident. Young is expected to attend the Titans three-day mandatory minicamp, which starts on Monday.
