Stupid Idea to start Dwill and Jstewart?

Searched alot of threads on both these 2 and everyone has their opinion on 1 or the other but was wondering if anyone thought of starting D.Williams and J.Stewart every week and how you think it might work out. Probably mix in another RB2 like Wells or Moreno too so Jstew would be a flex? Do you think that would be a good RB lineup in a standard scoring league no PPR? Thanks

Why would you ever do that? Drafting 3 rb's in the 2-4th and 2 of them are on the same team? You're a real fantasy old school RB guy aren't you?

Not going to judge the wisdom of your draft strategy but having 2wr... or 2rb (considering a close to 50/50 split)... or rb/qb from the same team leads to more consistent scoring week to week. You won't see as severe high spikes in scoring but you won't see as severe low spikes either.

I like alot more WR's past rd 4 than I do RB's. I am old school RB because it has always worked for me in the past. In this league if I can get 3 rB's that produce it puts me at an advantage to most teams that start that 3 WR at the flex position.

 

Seems most people like both to finish in the TOP 20 and if 1 got injured the other could be a STUD- maybe TOP 5 at the end?

In a PPR league that gives 4 Pt's per passing TD, I don't think I'd take Rodgers in the 1st round. And I definitely would not take 3 RB's from rounds 2-4, especially RB's that don't catch a lot of balls....Wells, Stewart. JMO

NOT PPR just standard scoring 6 pt TD for RB/WR and 4 pt TD for QB. 1 pt for every 10 yrd rush/rec.

 

Was also thinking can keep 2 players next year and maybe Dwill will get traded or sign somewhere else next year so I could keep both next year? Is this ridculous thinking?

Both carolina banks were great last year, and were fantasy starters. I would have no trouble with starting a tandem like that and or wells /moreno. If you dont like stewart Im sure you can get someone to trade you

you had your reasons for drafting dwill and jstew, so why not play em. they have the potential to blow open any game as theyve averaged 1100 and 10 tds a year. i dont like wells and moreno at all, but i prefer wells over knowshow, especially cuz zona plays in the nfc west and anderson may open the pass game up a little.

I'm not a big proponent of putting so many eggs in one basket, so I personally wouldn't do this. However, if one HAD to do something like it, this is hands down the situation to pick this year, IMO.

How many mocks have you done that you think this is possible, you have the location of JSTEW and moreno in the wrong place, I just took moreno in the 6th rd. I wasn't that excited.......

 

I had a spell two seasons ago where I started Lenwhale and CJ3 for about 5 games in a row. It worked really well, so I won't knock your idea. I think you will have to draft both guys at back to back rounds, if your going to get them both, they have very similar ADP.
