Im having troubles pulling the trigger on the following trade, should I do it?

 

Im dealing LT, J.Stewart & Vernon Davis for Ronnie Brown, Jets DST & A.Gates

 

Standard league, no PPR, start 1 QB, 2RBs, 3 Wrs, 1TE, 1 DST, 1 K

Throw out Stewart, he's a non-factor to either of you. You're losing some potential in Tomlinson, but you're gaining some reliable production--as long as Brown can stay healthy. Pretty much a wash at RB3. You upgrade a little at TE and at D, so it looks like a plus for you overall.

No way. Greene is only one fumble away from becoming #2 to LT, Gates-Davis is a wash, and the Jets D just took a bit hit with Jenkins gone for the year. Brown will be OK this year, but I'd rate Stewart and LT higher...

Brown becomes your back-up RB. Not bad. You get a beast in A. Gates. Excellent.

 

D.Williams is already excellent in CAR. Stewart a non-factor (all season long) unless DWill goes down.

J stew is a high end reserve until/unless d will gets hurt. ProbAbly the best in the league if his.incumbent goes down. I like LT as much as brown. Gates is an upgrade over Davis and I have no doubt about that this year. Jets DST is an upgrade but how much?

 

I don't like trading a potential huge talent in Stewart for a DST upgrade which is basically what that boils down to. I wouldn't do the deal but try to keep Stewart and trim it down to the Davis and LT for Gates and Brown and I like that better.

I must agree w/Axe Elf. I would do this trade based on the upgrade at TE and Def. Only concern is when R Brown goes down, I hope your past your bye weeks.

I'm would normally say no(as I'm a RB collector), but I think only starting 2 RBs, it might work out for you. Ronnie as your RB3 would be nice, you'll just need to scour the WW for another RB, just in case.
