The mystique would drive business along with the unusual ambience, and an old lady who would walk around acting as Phillybears mom. She would insult the men who would find it hilarious, tell them things like "get your ###### feet off the table" and "tuck in your shirt you slob" and compliment the girls who would love the nurturing Mrs. Phillybear, and get a kick out af an old lady insulting their boyfriends.
