windycityiggy 0 Posted December 22, 2011 Standard non-PPR league, who do you like best for a flex spot? Helu vs MIN Deangelo vs TB Stewart vs TB DJax @ DAL Thanks in advance for your opinion. Helu has a toe/knee injury and has been a limited participant in practice today and yesterday. He certainly has a good match up , but I'm not sure how serious this injury really is! DJax has lost his value and I think he is disgruntled with his team. His performance is certainly showing it as of late, not sure if I'd start him in the final round. It comes down to 2 Running Backs who happen to be on the same team. The Buccaneers rush defense is just horrid and have given up the 2nd most fantasy points to the RB position in the last 5 weeks. Williams AND Stewart should get there's. As of right now, I'd say DeAngelo with the possibility of Helu IF he plays. Hope this helps, best of luck in the championship! jackjohn 31 Posted December 23, 2011 Hey Fresh, made the finals due in large part to your help. So I would like your opinion one more time. 12 team ppr RB: need 2 Matthews @ Det CJ2K vs Jax AP @ Was S. Jax vs Pit Benson vs Ari WR: need 1 Austin vs Phi L. Rob vs Phi Bowe vs Oak Manningham vs NYJ I also need one of the above for flex. Thanks in advance. I really appreciate you doing this.
ithappens 0 Posted December 23, 2011 Just need some flex help here... Roy Helu (with his injury and average match up?), Mike Tolbert (tough match up in DET), or Nate Washington who has been hit or miss for the last 8 weeks? If it makes any difference, I am a slight underdog in my Championship match - he's already had Arian Foster play. Thanks for your help!

windycityiggy 0 Posted December 23, 2011 Just need some flex help here... If it makes any difference, I am a slight underdog in my Championship match - he's already had Arian Foster play. Thanks for your help! Ha, glad I'm not the only one in the same boat. My opponent had Foster last night as well. Not a good start for me to say the least. If it wasn't for Helu's injury and the fact that he did not practice today either, worries me. Nate really hasn't been hit or miss as of late. He has 13 receptions, 192 yards receiving, and 2 touchdowns in his past 2 games. Whether its' Matt or Jake throwing him the ball he will get his. I don't like Tolbert, Matthews is finally running well and there isn't much scraps left on the plate for Tolbert to pick up. As of right now, your best option is Nate against the Jaguars who are giving up the 10th most points to the WR position in the past 5 weeks and their secondary is littered with backup players. If Helu is named the starter and gets his full reps, he will get the most out of this trio. However, I don't think he will be 100% so that's up to you if you want to play him. If not, Nate is the next best option. Good luck in the championship and happy holidays! -Iggy

windycityiggy 0 Posted December 24, 2011 In a standard non-ppr league, who do I start? Flex: Bradshaw v Jets Kahlil Bell v GB Crabtree v Sea only real decent waiver option is Malcom Floyd. Def: Dallas v Eagles Bears v GB Thanks! Crabtree is worthless in a non-ppr league. They don't score touchdown's, just field goals. Akers is going to beat Jerry Rice's single season scoring record. Bradshaw just coming back from an injury and faces a fiesty Jets D. The call here is BELL and like I told my twitter followers earlier, I'm personally starting him in my championship round. He is the Bears only running back, barber and forte are done. He will be 80% of the offense on Sunday night. As far as the Defense goes....is there any D/ST you can pick up? Horrible match ups, Cowboys gave up 34 to this team in Week 8. Bears are done for and Packers might be pissed about losing. HOWEVER, my gut tells me that the Packers will play conservative and not try to risk any injury on their precious, belt wearing Quarterback....If they go up big early, or the Bears do for that matter...I think he gets pulled. So that might help Bears' owners, but I don't like either of these D/ST as your starters for the final round. Hope this helps, and good luck in the final round! Happy Holidays! windycityiggy 0 Posted December 24, 2011 Hey Fresh, made the finals due in large part to your help. So I would like your opinion one more time. 12 team ppr RB: need 2 Matthews @ Det ( Think you have to start him here. Lions have given up 100+ yards rushing in the past 2 games and this guy just reached same amount versus the Ravens. Running very well at the moment) CJ2K vs Jax ( Limited in practice this week. I'm sure he's going to play, but never want to see that going into the championship round. Tread lightly here, burned his owners last week) AP @ Was ( He's back and healthy. You don't sit AP when he's healthy, he will make you regret it.) S. Jax vs Pit (Horrible match up even though he's 98% of their offense. I just can't advise you to play him here.) Benson vs Ari (Arizona D actually playing quite well, and I don't think you can start him over AP.) WR: need 1 Austin vs Phil (2 Touchdowns in the past two games should reassure owners that he is indeed healthy. Not gonna go any farther down the list, this is your guy.) L. Rob vs Phi Bowe vs Oak Manningham vs NYJ I also need one of the above for flex. (Use Bowe as your flex. He is the #1 in KC and Orton is better than any other QB they had out there this year. Bowe will get 6-7 receptions alone so that will help in PPR formats) Thanks in advance. I really appreciate you doing this. Hope this helps buddy, good luck in the final round! Happy holidays to you and yours! -Iggy
FISHDEW 0 Posted December 24, 2011 Really need some help. Need to pick the best 2 RB's for this week PPR I have CJ?K - Greene - Helu and Wells help me pick 2 Thanks! FF Championship.
windycityiggy 0 Posted December 24, 2011 What up brotha! Which three of these would you recommend? Percy Harvin Ahmad bradshaw CJ Spiller Demaryius Thomas Santonio Holmes Willis Mcgahee Kevin Smith Right now I'm leaning toward Harvin, Spiller and Thomas starting. Thanks a ton!! What's up smp! Harvin loses his value tremendously when AP is out there healthy. It takes away not only targets but also carries by Harvin, and that's where he was very effective this year, but I see the Vikings being down in this game and being forced to throw. He's gonna have to get his through the air, and he just might. Spiller is a must start in my eyes. Bradshaw is just coming back from injury and plays a tough Jets rushing Defense. Santonio Holmes has scored in 4 consecutive weeks, but he doesn't get many receptions. Very risky if he doesn't hit the end zone, but been reliable. I hate Mark Sanchez though. McGahee is a great option...if he's HEALTHY. However, he's had a nagging hamstring injury and I never like recommending someone that isn't 100% in the championship round! D Thomas has evolved into Tebow's favorite target and he most likely will get his chances this week against a poor Bills defense. With all that being said. I think you go Spiller, D. Thomas, and Harvin/Holmes as your 3rd option. Is this a PPR league? If PPR go Harvin as 3rd option. Hope this helps, best of luck and happy holidays!

windycityiggy 0 Posted December 24, 2011 Really need some help. Need to pick the best 2 RB's for this week PPR I have CJ?K - Greene - Helu and Wells help me pick 2 Thanks! FF Championship. I can't possibly tell you Helu even though it's a good match up because he's questionable and looks to be a game-time decision. I hate advising readers to start players that we are uncertain of, too high of a risk. Same exact situation goes for Wells. So really this is quite easy! CJ and Greene look to be your best options. Unless you like to gamble and wait until the last minute that's the best advice I can give you. Questionable players in the final round are never a good thing! Hope this helps, good luck and happy holidays!
windycityiggy 0 Posted December 24, 2011 http://www.fftodayfo...howtopic=398340 In regards to this. Is this a PPR league? I think you need to somehow find a way to get C.J. Spiller in that lineup. Best possible option would be to sit Mendy or Fitz. I know it's tough to do, but Mendy has been disappointing all season and Skelton looks for Fitz all day which is a good thing, it's just that everyone else on the defense knows that as well and John likes to throw picks. C.J. is going to get points on the ground and through the air this week and he's going to do it in a big way I think. Get him in that lineup. Hope this helps, best of luck and happy holidays! windycityiggy 0 Posted September 7, 2012 Pick 1 Flex there, Iggy man. Thanks Rashad Jennings Steven Ridley Kevin Smith DHB Justin Blackmon D.Amendola Quite a list of options here to choose from. Jennings will start, but the Jaguars will be forced to throw the ball because they will be losing this game. Ridley is intriguing, I'm starting him in one of my leagues. Kevin Smith won't get you chunks of yardage, but he should steal a touchdown on Sunday. DHB could see some targets as I suspect the Raiders will be losing as well and playing from behind. The raiders ENTIRE secondary is NEW this season....something to put into prespective. Amendola is a nice sleeper pick, but not sure you can trust him yet. They will be playing from behind as well though.....Blackmon is a freakish athlete, but he's a rookie and starting rookies in week 1 is a big gamble. All this said....Ridley, Kevin Smith, and DHB are your best options. I'd say Ridley. Hope this helps, good luck!
