Joey Gladstone 33 Posted April 11, 2012 I know Rivers is injury-prone, but I would have thought he could of at least garnered a 3rd round pick. Could be huge for New York if he can stay on the field.

Injury prone, missing a season and not establishing himself even with improving stats will impact perceived value quickly. Is he being projected as a starter for the Giants or a quality alternate at this point? I assume he is ready to go from day one.

Not sure I'd even call him injury prone. A broken jaw from Ward's cheap shot was 1 of 2 injuries. Can't remember how he messed up the wrist.

kutulu 1,548 Posted April 11, 2012 Nice trade for my Giants, IMO...low cost, low risk, high reward.
jgcrawfish 232 Posted April 11, 2012 Keith Rivers is still Hines Ward's b!tch...even in NYC.
