IGotWorms 4,060 Posted January 22, 2013 I'm afraid you'll have to wait a long time; Worms is a lawyer who doesn't use logic. Luckily for him, when you pull the race card you don't need logic. And any attempt to defend yourself makes you more racist. HTH. You're a good man jerry. I don't agree with your politics, but you're okay. So I don't know why you're casting your lot with this Murf. Guys like him aren't your allies; they just make all conservatives look bad. Really bad.

I'm just going by the discussion in this thread, and I've made my statements already. If he has an ongoing history of racist comments feel free to let me know, but I'll tell you that in this thread it seems like you are quick to jump to the race card. For the record (little lawyer talk), worms has come to this conclusion on this thread alone and my avatar. But I can't tell him anything to change his mind. And my avatar is completely and totally political which I think ultimately is his problem with me. Cause of course all conservatives are racist...john Stewart says so

Guys like him aren't your allies; they just make all conservatives look bad. Really bad. Why? Because we see through the obnoxiousness of FORCED hiring based on color only? Lets review: People against racism do NOT want skin color to be used to judge a persons character or skill set. However, they are the ones that keep ramming this crap down everyones throat. Hmmm - which is it....do we use skin color or not? Oh wait, I get it, we use it when it benefits those of color in an unfair way but otherwise, we are all colorblind. Or something like that. Right. Why isnt there a racism policy in the NBA? Whites are completely under-represented. Where is the outrage? Where is Jesse jackson? Where are the ACLU lawyers? Huh? Patriotsfatboy1 1,433 Posted January 22, 2013 It's about time for league to recognize the same issue at running back and institute the Riggins Rule and require each team to have at least one white running back on active roster or practice squad. It should be called the "Woodcock Rule".

I've stated that I do not support the Rooney rule. That said, saying that a coach who has been to two Superbowls and won one of them was only hired because he was black is focking stupid and betrays something much much deeper than a distaste for affirmative action. That much is plain.
The Moz 71 Posted January 22, 2013 could we get a reverse Rooney rule for NFLN analysts?

That much is plain. Actually, it recognizes that it's possible that, given equal choices between Tomlin and Whisenhunt at the time, the Steelers made their choice at their owner's behest to further the rule that bears his name. You realize that even Belichick - the coaching genius - concedes that Brady "fell into his lap like a gift from heaven." Sometimes, decisions are made for reasons other than the brilliance that we claim in hindsight.
