If you take a wr in rnd 2 you will love ur stud for about 2 rounds until you see ur terrible RB2-3 and the studs you end up getting later at WR like Colston, nelson, Wayne, hilton etc will make you mad at the 2nd rnd wr. You will hate ur life and wish you just had those 2 solid rbs. RB RB WR RB is the absolute best start for loving your team later. U will have 1 great wr and 3 RBs you are happy to start. so in rnd 5 after u get ur 3rd rb, if Gronk is there, take him, but if not theres zero TE value at that spot so get the last of the stud QBs you like. From there you can draft best available cuz you will love ur team already. To recap.. Rb, Rb, Wr, Rb, Qb (or TE if Gronk is there.) Seriously stick to this and you will love your team. Seeing that you have done no research or watched any games I am not sure this is your year my friend but grab a current adp list and try your best to fill out your starters with some names that ring a bell. Calvin fell so i grabbed him Trich fell so i grabbed him I probably should've grabbed D. Murray at 3.09, but Andre Johnson was the last WR i liked in the tier Grabbed Eddie Lacy Grabbed Lamar Miller I thought that this was a decent start... had i gone RB/RB my team would have probably looked like this Trich Forte Andre Johnson Jordy Nelson/ Marques Colston i think that part of the draft worked out well for me, and i don't think i'd trade for the 2nd group listed... have an open mind... if a player falls to you, take them, don't draft with blinders on based on one specific strategy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

First of all, having a defined positional strategy like you laid out from the 9 hole is just totally wrong. You do your homework and then take what the draft gives you, my friend. I liked rallo's comment: "Calvin fell so i grabbed him Trich fell so i grabbed him" Secondly, while drafts can indeed be lost in the early rounds, they are seldom won through your early picks - it is who you draft in rounds 6 through 12 that generally determine if you can win your league. Research is essential to success The order you pick your positions is almost totally irrelevant. Good luck - because at this point that is all it can be.. TRich is a shocker, but during that time Rodgers, Brees, Alfred, Dez, Forte, Green were selected ahead of him.
