DankNuggs 305 Posted February 7, 2014 it'll get better in the spring. Seasonal summer jobs will pump up the figures and the Fed will likely ease back the tapering in the fall to pump up the economy in conjunction with some heavy Obama social diversions to make his last ditch effort from losing congress, and in turn the rest of his presidency to a group that will hold him accountable. Housing markets are getting stronger by the day, and you know they heat up over the spring/summer, which will drive some good numbers as well. Although rates inching above 5% will hurt that a little. If people are convinced we are headed back to 7-8% rates it may induce even more activity.
Phurfur 70 Posted February 7, 2014 CNN was encouraging everyone to just 'shrug off' the report, because....you know... things are tough, thats nothing new, and the job market is Slooooooooowwwwwwwwly recovering... So just shrug it off.... Ignore it. Things are tough because of the failed policies of Barack Obama! $7 trillion in debt over 5 years and still no recovery. posty 2,762 Posted February 7, 2014 It goes back a little farther then those 5 years, Dumbass Correct... The two years before that with the Democratic controlled congress...
NewbieJr 541 Posted February 7, 2014 BUSH! Oh sorry. That's right. You Republitards refer to those 8 years as the 'missing years'. They are not to ever be discussed. And when going back to show bad trends in the country, you can only go back as far as Obama's inauguration. You may not cross over into the 'missing years', even if it is very relevant to the point being made. Bwahahahaha
NewbieJr 541 Posted February 7, 2014 During the eight years under George W. Bush, his policies created just 1 million jobs (with another 2 million in the military). Since Barack Obama was sworn in five years ago, 7.6 million jobs have been created, and there are still nearly three years left in his term. BUSH!!!!! NewbieJr 541 Posted February 7, 2014 15 posts since I threw some real job numbers in your face. Not a single one about jobs. Hmmmm, sure takes the fun out of it when there's something real to compare it to.

Since Barack Obama was sworn in five years ago, 7.6 million jobs have been created, and there are still nearly three years left in his term. BUSH!!!!! In January 2009 when he took office: 133,976,000 In January 2014 (prelim): 137,499,000 I don't where you learned math, but that is 3,523,000, not the 7.6 million... http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001

The assumption is Obama came in during a severe downtrend, had to manage that trend from becoming catastrophic, and then once things had bottomed out he could focus on rebuilding the labor market. I think that is true but at some point Obama has to own the market we have now. I think that point has arrived.
