Alex Smith vs. Locker for back-up QB duties

Talking back-up QB's here… What do you think about Locker this year (If he can stay healthy?)

I currently have Alex Smith as my back-up QB, but I worry about him this year as it seems his receiving corp sucks, and his talent is questionable.

I think Locker has a great match-up this week against Dallas, just not sure rest of the way?

 

My starter QB is Rivers, and no way I play him this week against Seattle...

A guy just dropped Cam Newton in my league?@?!? This may sound odd, but what are your thoughts about Cam vs. Locker?

I actually think Locker’s year end stats may eclipse Newton slightly - am I way off?

Same receiving unto he had last season. The problem is on the o-line . Locker I like better so I would make that move

Locker is not a qb who will stay healthy because he doesn't have a feel for how to move around. However, he does lots of weapons to throw to so when healthy he should do well enough.

3 top 5 qb finishes earns Cam some respect at least for a few weeks before we write him off. But Locker over Smith all day.

I think we have seen enough of Smith to know he has a low ceiling. Go with Locker

 

I would not take Locker over Cam at this point even though Cam has fewer weapons to work with.
