titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted July 25, 2015 Isn't the term Yankee potential offensive to say, a Confederate? Could there ever be the Atlanta Confederates? Nope. The ole miss rebels already changed their mascot. Vanderbilt had a building called confederate hall, built with monies donated by the daughters of the confederacy. They changed the name years ago. I don't think they refunded the money though.

patweisers44 815 Posted July 26, 2015 They only killed a bunch of confederate soldiers, which makes them far more likable than the baseball version of the Yankees.
Magnificent Bastard 190 Posted July 26, 2015 The Yankees have been dominating for a long time. Waving a confederate flag at Yankees is like the Mets waving their two flags at the Yankees.

GobbleDog 976 Posted July 26, 2015 If they're going to remove our greatest president of all time - Andrew Jackson, from the $20 bill because he forced savage injuns to move to reservations, then it seems fitting that George Washington who owned hundreds of slaves be removed from all currency and his face removed from Mount Rushmore. That should give America's greatest war criminal - Abe Lincoln a little more elbow room up there.
