j0ker 3 Posted September 11, 2016 So it's only week one and I'm already down by thirty points thanks to CJ Anderson. Do I go Bortles in a possible shootout with Green Bay? Or Cousins in a possible shootout with Big Ben on Monday night? I am TORN to say the least and both are projected around the same from the all "experts". I don't see either team running much. If it matters I'm going against Antonio Brown too. Non ppr and td's are worth 6 from Qb's. Thanks and leave a link.
Lake209 46 Posted September 11, 2016 Curious who your RB is who matches-up with CJ, but no matter... If you are anxious (& you seem to be), I'd go with Cousins. It's a close call..and it's W1...and no one here can boost your confidence until fantasy-world settles itself out after the first few Weeks. Think I'd roll with Cousins ability to toss bombs to a healthy DeJax and a red-zone or 3 ot Reed. *Might* give you a a boost/edge that you need to combat weakness at RB. Curious if others here give you a 'strong' opinion either way.
j0ker 3 Posted September 11, 2016 Thanks! And yes definitely anxious as I have never been in such a league. 12 man league, 18 round draft, 9 bench players! My rb's are David Johnson and Foster with Matt Jones, Booker from Denver, and Chris Johnson on the bench. Needless to say there is nothing on the waiver and almost everyone was drafted. Yeah rolling with Cousins for now thanks again.
Ray_T 798 Posted September 11, 2016 Dude, I'd go Bortles all the way. He's the real deal. Cousins? I'm not so sure on.
dpbuddha 9 Posted September 11, 2016 I personally feel that either one of these games could turn into a shoot-out, it's going to be hard to guess at. All I'll say is maybe the tie-breaker is week 3 of the preseason...Bortles was 10/16 for 52 yards! That's terrible. Cousins was 12/23 for 188 and 3 TDs. Not great percentage, but the yards and TDs are nice. Maybe that's worth considering when making the decision.
jimaveli 119 Posted September 11, 2016 Kirko. He's at home. Steelers d has issues. If you have him, you gotta believe when he has a matchup. Unfortunately, neither guy is ever safe from stinking up the place. When in doubt, give me the guy at home.
