Recommended Posts

Cleaned up. The results were generally predictable. Vegas probably got slaughtered.

No problem. I could of done the smart thing and placed the bet online, but I'd have never taken the money and lost it anyway

well I was thinking when i asked you if you would place it for me, that you could just make the same $20 wager for yourself and if you lost, you've got my 20 and if you won, yeah you have to pay me out of pocket but at least you have the same profit added to your bovada bankroll. You'd obviously never bother cashing out of bovada for $140 but maybe it adds up with other winners or something.

anyway, I do appreciate it. met up with a friend at the casino to celebrate MLK day yesterday and won $250 at the bj table... im on a hot streak. Lets start the edex cup now. Careerbuilder challenge anyone? :D

That is NOT what gamblers do. And Ed, God bless him, just can't help it.

I'm not much of a gambler, because I have the worst luck ever (hence taking my 1st bet ever and losing)

I knew damn well that this bet was going to win. It's just my luck when it comes to gambling.

had Dallas one that game, I probably win my fantasy playoff, not surprised they didn't, cowboys fans feel free to blame me

after 2 weeks I have the most points scored by 30 and only have A brown and steelers D left

i had the Boys in a pre playoff pool $20 down on any team to win, as many teams as you want and the winners split the pot. I was keeping track of the score on my phone while I was at the Nets game and couldn't understand how or why Dallas had left so much time on the clock when they tied it up. Knew right then and there that Rodgers was going to get green bay into FG position. I got really excited because someone tweeted that Garrett had made the best kicker icing of his life and I assumed that meant he iced Crosby and he missed. but then like 5 seconds later it tweeted again that the icing didn't end up mattering. <_<

11 other people had Dallas so it really doesn't matter. I think the split winnings would have been like 160 per person.

my father has New England AND Atlanta so i'll probably be cheering for Atlanta. Only 4 other people took them. (20-something took New England, 16 on the Giants)

"The best kicker icing of his life" WTF?

it was one of those live tweets on the side or bottom of an ESPN 'gametracker'. My guess is that they meant the timing was perfect, being that the snap happened and Crosby made it but it didn't count. As opposed to calling the timeout quick enough that the other team doesn't even attempt the kick or... the worst.. calling the timeout and the other team misses the kick.

I, on the other hand, assumed it meant he iced him, and Crosby then missed the actual attempt.

Yeah I read that the books go destroyed.

Yes,they did.

Forget Aaron Rodgers -- the most impressive performance of the NFL playoffs belongs to the betting public, which jumped from favorites to underdogs at precisely the right time this weekend and squashed multiple Las Vegas sportsbooks in the process.

Nevada sportsbooks won a combined $73.64 million on football, both NFL and college, in September, October and November, down 12 percent from the same three months in 2015, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
