Unemployment rate down, but CNN quick to say its all a farce.

Recommended Posts

You have to love how the Lefties lived by the unemployment rate under Obama and now it is meaningless. They set this standard over the last eight years And now it doesn't count.

Do the voices tell you these things.

Good links to all the focking supposed articles.

This one says it's the lowest rate since 2001, but the monthly numbers didn't meet the forecasts. Both of those are accurate statements.

Good analysis though. Maybe care a little less about what CNN thinks since they're apparently the new boogeyman.

If you think crime is bad now...

Yep. It is. I agree. And I agree it would get worse for a while.

It's sad when forcing people to not live free off of the wage earners, will cause more crime.

Nope. I am Growth Hacker/Content Marketer in the firearm industry. When the economy is good people buy firearms to have fun with, when the economy is bad (which is usually better for us) people buy them for protection. Recession proof. :)

Amen.

But why is CNN dismissing and downplaying it?

I'm just kinda getting to the point of CNN drawing a line in the sand.

And people stop looking for work because they get handouts. Kick every able-bodied person off welfare. Take their free food away, trust me, they will start scrambling looking for work.

Why did Fox news do the same thing when Obama was in office? I'll give you a tip... it's because they're both slanted and full of BS...

And as far as they are saying it's a farce, I just got a CNN Alert that says "News Alert - The U.S. unemployement rate dropped to 4.3% in May, the lowest in 16 years".

My god, the liberal bias! :shocking:

They followed it up with numerous headlines...on every page.

"Unemployment rate down to 4.3%...or is it?"

"Not so fast Mr. Trump...."

"Trump claims he created XXXXX jobs....but did he"

Those were from this a;m.

Now. lol...they have this on their money page:

Two days ago President Trump did claim that private sector jobs are up over 1M since he took office...that was wrong and if you are using the 4.3% unemployment rate from BLS, than you have to agree that Trump was wrong, since BLS only has around 600K jobs since Trump took office.

As far as the Is unemployment too low, that's been a legitimate debate for 50 years. Nice try, complete thread fail. Good luck on your next one.

God who cares.

Know what 4% means to me? Harder to find good candidates for open positions and have to tolerate more douchery than I would if it was 8%.

This number sucks

when did he take office again?

2007 4.6 4.5 4.4 4.5 4.4 4.6 4.7 4.6 4.7 4.7 4.7 5.0
2008 5.0 4.9 5.1 5.0 5.4 5.6 5.8 6.1 6.1 6.5 6.8 7.3
2009 7.8 8.3 8.7 9.0 9.4 9.5 9.5 9.6 9.8 10.0 9.9 9.9

The market crashed in September of 2008.

Obama took office in January of '09.

When was the last time that rate went up by 1.7% or more in a four month span? That's what he came into from the time he was elected until the time he was sworn into office.

I'm not a terribly big Obama fan, but any same person should agree that the market crash was a massive blow to start a presidency and presented an uphill climb. Now...his administration's reaction? Woof.

I just hope that we aren't in fact in a bubble...even though I feel the same way as 90s. The used car market is in a MASSIVE bubble. Housing in some areas is getting back to the same. Then there's the student debt one....

Whatever became of Deutsche Bank's money they owe the US?
