stonewall 647 Posted October 25, 2017 Both are proven talents on good offenses, yet have been huge busts. They are both about as low in value as you will find them.....but which one would you/are you looking to swipe from someone who is tired of waiting, thinking he could pay dividends down the stretch? Gepetto 989 Posted October 25, 2017 I cut Sammy Watkins last week. He's got a tough cornerback matchup pretty much every week going forward still. So Martavis I guess.
RaiderHaters Revenge 3,604 Posted October 25, 2017 Id rather use the spot to not have to drop my defense or kicker both suck
stonewall 647 Posted October 25, 2017 Id rather use the spot to not have to drop my defense or kicker both suck Both have sucked, yes. Badly, in fact. However, the question seasoned owners constantly ask themselves is: Will one or both continue to suck down the stretch. Perhaps so.....but I never ignore talent that can be had on the cheap. weepaws 2,469 Posted October 25, 2017 I'm going to say Bryant. When Watkins went to the Rams I thought he would be producing. He's not. Don't see why it would change. Bryant is in very bad standings with the Steelers, but I have a feeling they will use him as the season goes on. Winning this season is all what matters, and I think this will indeed be Big Bens last season and they will use every thing they have for one more run.

Perhaps so.....but I never ignore talent that can be had on the cheap. problem is, alot of players in the NFL have insane talent and when you have done nothing in 6 games to me its a lost year. Now they may be guys I look to buy low next year, but for now, there are 36 WR's I wouldn't hesitate to start over them, and I just don't know when I would even bother to play either of them
bobby heenan 60 Posted October 25, 2017 really cant say...but im a bryant owner and im not going to drop him...im still holding out hope that they sit down and hash this out in another thread someone mentioned that prior to last week someone analyzed that 43 percent of bryants targets were deemed uncatchable....and that if he connected on 3, just missed, deep balls that he would have been a top 10 receiver going into last week.... im holding out hope....i think to this point the steelers have been treating bryant as a toy and less like a complete receiver....but its hard with all 3 of those guys because bell and brown command the ball...we shall see
jgcrawfish 232 Posted October 25, 2017 I would say Bryant, but only for the reason that he will essentially never see #1CB coverage when he's on the field, nor will he see double coverage. Watkins hasn't been targeted by Goff, and yet still draws top CB coverage every game. Plus Goff is playing the role of game manager, where Ben will definitely take shots down the field. The Bryant breakout may come this weekend.
