Ehlana 25 Posted September 7, 2019 3 years, 66 million extension. He gets like 64 million at signing.
Brutal Brutus 182 Posted September 7, 2019 I guess the Falcons have come to appreciate having an elite WR that isn't an a$$ hat.
IGotWorms 3,315 Posted September 7, 2019 Good for him, a guy that actually deserves it. Well as much as any player can
joeshushu 51 Posted September 7, 2019 Nice! I was wondering why he dropped in my draft to the second round. Glad I snatched him up. Just hope he plays up to the money he is getting.
AxeElf 787 Posted September 7, 2019 Julio Jones is a great fantasy WR unless your league awards points for receiving TDs.
sderk 1,040 Posted September 8, 2019 What's odd to me is, what are all the terms and conditions on the other 2 million? Ok, here's your 64 million, but no way are we giving you the last 2 million up front. You need to earn it. What does he have to do wrong to not get the 65th and 66th million and what would be his motivation for getting it? I can see it now, "Well Julio, if you don't catch 90 passes in 2019, that knocks, $50,000 off of the additional 2 million that is not guaranteed. We also need you to get 1200 yards receiving or you can miss out on another $50,000." And what a cap space hit that is going to leave on the Falcons. Dude pulls a hammy, gets an ACL tear, whatever. That is a lot of money.
