Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez is battling a heart condition linked to his COVID-19 diagnosis, Boston radio station WEEI reported Friday, citing sources.

On Thursday, manager Ron Roenicke told reporters in a video conference call that the left-hander was shut down from baseball activities after suffering "minor complications" in his attempt to move on from his coronavirus battle.

"(Doctors) discovered something that we need to make sure we get rid of this completely before he gets on the field," Roenicke said without disclosing the setback

What's your point?  He has a heart issue.  It may have been there already but they ignore that nugget.  But let's say it is from COVID.  Shut down the team?  In the time it took me to type this somebody probably died in a car accident, shut down auto travel?

Not to mention that the stats for healthy young people are extremely favorable.  Like, more likely to get hit by lightning twice favorable.

All of the whiny biitches that are so scared of this virus (that has a 99.96% survival rate) had better wear a mask every flu season from now on. Stay consistent and true to your beliefs, even when the Chinabug is over.

  • Thanks 1
