So would I. Never mentioned anything about Parsons. The narrative at the time last year was the Giants would have drafted Devonta Smirh at 11 not Parsons. I’d rather have the 7th pick than him. If you disagree fine. Not sure where you got the idea I wouldn’t want Parsons since I never mentioned it.

I am not sure the Giants can do much worse under the new GM.   The franchise was poorly managed from top to bottom.

If I'm a Giants fan I'd be happy with the move.

probably.  but I'd expect some improvements if the coach is reasonably decent.  I dont know enough about the guy to make a call on that.

but if they suck, I'd say you can safely still blame that on the previous management haha.

If they are smart they draft a couple O linemen.  if they can fix that line then if Danny Dimes doesnt pan out they at least have a young, solid line to protect a new QB.   Then they avoid the mistakes the previous management made.

Don’t be fooled by Dimes, Taylor is going to take a lot of snaps this next season.  

Barkley must return, and be able to stay healthy enough to play.  

But no matter how good the new staff is or if Barkley can return they’ll still suck arse.

I am very familiar with Tyrod.   Hes good enough to start on a handful of teams in the NFL.    lately his biggest problem is he's been getting hurt.

As a running QB who is very efficient in how he runs an offense, I think hes a perfect mentor for Danny dimes who also has that skillset and can run the ball.

hes only there if Danny Dimes completely crashes and burns.   While I acknowledge that may be possible, but I think the biggest problem in New York was poor management, poor line and poor coaching who didnt know how to run an offense.

they have (hopefully) addressed the coaching and management.  if they can get the line functional I think enough will have changed for the better that if Danny Dimes was ever going to breakout, you'd hope it would be this year.   If it doesnt happen this year, I think there is a fair chance New York drafts a QB next year.

on another note, when the current coaches came in, certain members of the line went from being good to being poor.  to me this speaks to coaching and the system.   so there is a fair chance that a new coach can fix some  of these issues.   problem is... if you have played in a bad system on a bad team long enough, you can get ruined as a player too.  But I am thinking of the rams before McVay arrived.    if the new guy is a good coach, lots of things can get turned around and changed for the better.

like I said before I think this offense should have been a lot better over the last couple years than it has been so getting rid of the crappy coach could very well be a case of addition by subtraction.   then if they use their first round picks and can draft impact players...... we could see a completely different team next year.

Tyrod was brought in as Dimes Insurance nothing more. If Danny boy actually stays healthy Taylor won't get a meaningful snap all season. Book it.

I more or less agree with you.

Danny needs to get hurt or play absolutely terribly before Tyrod sees the field.  dont get me wrong. I love Tyrod.  he might be the best backup in the NFL but hes still a backup

it is possible you might be right.  the franchise could have already ruined him.

I'm willing to cut him some slack for playing on a team that doesnt know how to run an offense.

But I'm not willing to call him a bust yet.
