I think the Fed did a good job keeping us out of a recession which everyone was projecting to happen. I trust their judgement on this.

I guess I’m religious, went to Catholic schooling etc but I feel religions were setup by God/creator/code writer etc to keep us inline . 

We're getting pretty far afield here, but IF this whole thing is a creation, my thoughts are that the creator(s) don't really care and have truly fuct up senses of humor. If you had an ant colony in a formicarium in your house, would you do anything other than observe it, then get rid of it when you got bored?

I suspect humans are much closer to ants in physical and mental ability than we are to the creator(s). We cannot comprehend their motivations or thoughts because we are not built to.
