Why is there a health crisis that liberals glossy over? Why do they never acknowledge that liberal politicians never do anything to improve health in a meaningful way?

Ultimately it's everyone's responsibility to keep themselves and their kids healthy, but it would seem to me the liberal government has purposely pushed policy to make Americans grossly unhealthy. It’s just common sense.

- Since the 1970s, rates of childhood cancer have soared by nearly 50%.
- In the 1960s, less than 5% of children were obese. Now, over 20% are obese.

You seem like a decent dude and are pretty respectful, so I will try to be the same.

Your reasoning makes no sense IMO. Republicans have spent just as much time in control as Democrats since the 70s, so for you to lump this all on them while giving lip service to the uniparty rings false. Both parties have taken part in the rise of huge food manufacturers and exorbitant healthcare costs, which are the main culprits in our health as a nation deteriorating. It's also on government agencies like the FDA, which again, has been controlled by both parties over the years. Without doing any research, I'd be willing to bet that liberal policies overall have been more pro-health than conservative ones. Fact is they are both in the pocket of big business, so they all look the other way when carcinogenic food additives start killing us.
