Lets stop screaming at each other about politics for a minute.  At least long enough to help me here.

 

I have used VLC Media Player for the past...I dunno 20 years?   Its' focking lagging and hiccuping on some videos now.  "Windows Media Player -Legacy"  is smooth as pie. 

I know...I know....then just use WMP.   Its always been the other way around. I googled, etc...tried to fix VLC.  Uninstalled, re-installed, etc.  Still not working right.

Does anyone know of another good Media Player ? 

What do you all use?

Everyone at our production house still uses VLC whenever we have to test video we are sending to clients. Very surprising you are having issues with it with any codec.

I believe the issue was caused by a recent update.  I want to say it was update 37.90125.6969???

Basically you're experiencing lags because it is detecting your kiddie p0rn videos and uploading information to the Feds.  Have fun in prison you sicko!!!!

Windows Media Player, on the other hand, has no such qualms with your perversions.  Go Microsoft!!!!
